Yikes: Colin Kaepernick just GUARANTEED he won’t get signed

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to leave the team following the last football season, which was a risky move considering how unpopular his controversial protest of the national anthem was. He undoubtedly cost the NFL some of their viewers, which naturally has led to the NFL viewing him as a potential liability rather than an asset.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has disputed the rumors that Kaepernick’s inability to get signed for a team is due to his politics, and attributed it instead to his less-than-stellar performance as a quarterback.

Given that he doesn’t have to worry about what he says anymore since he’s unemployed, Kaepernick decided to make even dumber controversial marks, this time comparing today’s police to fugitive slave catchers.

According to The BlazeKaepernick tweeted a picture juxtaposing a “fugitive slave patrol” badge, presumably worn by those who captured — and often killed — runaway slaves in the south, with a modern sheriff’s star inscribed with the words “police officer.”

“You can’t ignore your history,” the picture reads, “always remember who they are.”

Kaepernick added in his tweet: “A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without consequence, doesn’t need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled!”

Kaepernick posted the image Friday evening after a Minnesota police officer was acquitted in the July 2016 shooting of Philando Castile.

Well, it’s great to see him actually be honest about his stance for once, and actually admit that he’s anti-police, not just “anti-police brutality” like he advertised when he was still a quarterback. With a post like this, he’s essentially guaranteed that his career is over (though in all fairness, it probably was before this anyway).

Just wait for the day he has to call the cops for something.
