Wow: Trump sends out ONE fundraising email; this happens in just TWO DAYS

At the end of May, Trump only had $1.3 million on hand, while Hillary Clinton had over $42 million. Yesterday I spoke too soon when I speculated that Trump may have to resort to contributing to his own campaign to the tune of the hundreds of millions to fund his campaign.

Hillary has been fundraising her entire campaign, but Trump only started two days ago. And how did that go? As CNN just reported, the results have been YUUGE:

Donald Trump and his joint fundraising committee have raised at least $11 million since Tuesday morning, Republicans said Wednesday, a tremendously quick haul that comes amid concerns about his fundraising ability.

Trump Victory, the joint fundraising account with the Republican National Committee, and Trump’s official campaign raised $5 million online since Tuesday morning, when it sent one of its first fundraising pitches to its email list, according to Sean Spicer, an RNC spokesman.

That does not include the $2 million that Trump himself has pledged to match in the fundraising appeal, Spicer said.

Trump has done virtually no small-dollar fundraising since launching his campaign a year ago, and is not expected to begin a full online fundraising operation until the convention.

Trump has an advantage too in that he receives more bang for his buck. The most recent data I could find was as of the end of March, which showed that Hillary had spent $14.46 per vote in the Democrat primary, while Trump had spent only $4.28 in the Republican primary per vote. In other words, he’s over three times more efficient with his cash (perhaps due to the immense free media attention he receives).

Two days ago liberals were mocking Trump’s campaign finances under the hashtag #TrumpSoPoor. Only a few days later it looks like Trump could have more cash on hand in a matter of weeks if he keeps this up.
