What Whoopi Goldberg just said about African-Americans might be her most SHOCKING comment ever

The ladies of T”he View” generally provide excellent insight into the liberal mind — for example, Joy Behar recently saying she could still vote for a rapist as long as he was a liberal.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg regularly spouts liberal nuggets of wisdom as well, but what she just said may be the most shocking of all.

As Breitbart reports, during a debate about U.S. immigration policy on Tuesday, Goldberg said she doesn’t want to be called “African-American.”

“You know what uh-uh! This is my country. My mother, my grandmother, my great-grand folks, we busted ass to be here. I’m an American. I’m not an African-American. I’m not a chick-American. I’m an American!”

Now before you think Whoopi has gone completely off the reservation (is that racist? At least we didn’t say “plantation”), she also said she’d have to seek asylum in another country if Donald Trump is elected president.

Still, baby steps are encouraging.
