Trump FIRES back at CIA warning over tweets

Yesterday, outgoing CIA director John Brennan issued a warning to Donald Trump in response to his reaction to the recent Buzzfeed spectacle. Here’s Trump’s reaction:

And here’s Brennan’s response: “Spontaneity is not something that protects national security interests and so therefore when he speaks or when he reacts, just make sure he understands that the implications and impact on the United States could be profound,” Brennan said on Fox News Sunday. “It’s more than just about Mr. Trump. It’s about the United States of America.” Brennan slammed Trump for his comments likening the actions of the intelligence community to those of Nazi Germany. “What I do find outrageous is equating the intelligence community with Nazi Germany,” Brennan said.”

“I do take great umbrage with that and there is no basis for Mr. Trump to point fingers at the intelligence community for leaking information that was already available publicly.”

Of course, asking Trump to tone himself done generally has only ever had the opposite effect as intended.

As The Blaze reported: President-elect Donald Trump took aim at outgoing CIA Director John Brennan late Sunday suggesting that he was behind the unverified dossier of scandalous opposition material that BuzzFeed published last week.

Trump’s comments came in response to Brennan saying on “Fox News Sunday” over the weekend that he doesn’t think Trump understands or has an “appreciation” for the effect that his words have on the U.S. intelligence community and U.S. national security.

Trump responded to Brennan in the best way he knows how: via Twitter.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper took the unusual step last week of publicly saying that he didn’t believe it was the result of a leak in the intelligence community.

“I emphasized that this document is not a U.S. Intelligence Community product and that I do not believe the leaks came from within the IC,” Clapper said last week, referring to a phone conversation he had with Trump, according to Talking Points Memo.

Still, Trump has been very outspoken in his criticism of the dossier and what he believes to be the intelligence community’s role it in being leaked to the media.

In all honesty, Trump should welcome more bogus leaks like this. Despite the fact it was liberals trying to start the “fake news” narrative in the first place, they’re the ones actually creating it. The more obviously bogus leaks like the one BuzzFeed published get exposed for the garbage they are, the less likely people are to believe the narrative the liberal media pushes overall.
