Victor Aureliano Martinez Ramirez, a 29-year-old undocumented immigrant, is once again getting free rent and board from the tax payers in Santa Barbara County. He’s enjoying health care, dental care, library books, walks in his fenced-in yard, hot cooked meals, free clothes and free legal advice. This is Ramirez’s FOURTH time as a resident of the Santa Barbara County jail.He was last arrested in May of 2014 and was on probation at the time of that arrest.
Marilyn Pharis, a 64-year-old resident of Santa Barbara County, isn’t so fortunate. She’s dead, eight days after she was brutally attacked in her home. Apparently, killing Ms. Pharis wasn’t enough activity for one day. The suspect — you guessed it, illegal Mexican trespasser Ramirez — then went to another home and was caught breaking in there. Who knows what carnage would’ve happened had the police not caught him in the second home.Via the Santa Maria Times:
Marilyn Pharis died Saturday eight days after she was attacked with a hammer and sexually assaulted in her Santa Maria home, and authorities are weighing whether her alleged assailant, already charged with attempted murder, will face additional charges.
The day before she died, Victor Aureliano Martinez Ramirez, a 29-year-old undocumented immigrant, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, first-degree burglary with person present, assault with intent to commit rape, sexual penetration by foreign object and resisting a peace officer. He is also facing a variety of special allegations, including use of a deadly weapon in a sex offense, causing great bodily injury in a sex offense, assault with a deadly weapon on an elderly person and a violent crime against a vulnerable victim.
Pharis was severely injured in the attack at her home in the 900 block of North Dejoy Street on the morning of July 24. She was being treated at Marian Regional Medical Center when she died.
Ramirez was arrested after Pharis called police to report the attack. Police said he was found nearby in another home he had broken into in the 1000 block of West Donovan Road.Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Karapetian said she is unable to comment yet on when or if the complaint against him will be amended to include a murder charge.
Santa Maria Police Chief Ralph Martin said Tuesday afternoon that he had confirmed Ramirez’s immigration status with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
As Free Republic reports, according to County Jail officials, Immigration and Customs Enforcement declined to issue an immigration detainer that would have required local authorities to hold him for deportation.Remember all the flak GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump got for suggesting Mexico was allowing criminals to enter the United States? Do you know how many Americans have been killed by illegal Mexicans since he made that statement? Breitbart is just out with the figures that illegal alien crime accounts for more than 30% of murders in many states. That’s nothing short of outrageous.
As Salon.com reported on an interview between Chris Wallace and The Donald earlier this month:
Chris Wallace reminded Trump that he’s said “the Mexican government is sending rapists, drug dealers, and criminals across the border,” and noted that Jeb Bush has called those remarks “extraordinarily ugly.” He asked Trump to defend those remarks to Bush, who was standing right next to him, as well as reveal the “secret” evidence he has that the Mexican government is complicit in sending criminals across the border.
Donald Trump stood his ground and wasn’t hounded into changing his statement or apologizing to the murderers he may have offended.
Actually, it appears fellow GOP presidential candidate Mr. Bush may not have done his homework. As Rush Limbaugh reported about a story from the Examiner.com, the Mexican government indeed appears to be providing “assistance” to illegals.
“On Monday, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina held a joint press conference in Playas de Catazaja, Mexico, to officially announce an agreement to make it easier for those making the illegal journey to the United States from Central America, to cross into Mexico.”
The Mexican president, the Guatemala president had a joint press conference to announce an agreement that they came to to make it easier for these illegal alien unaccompanied kids to make the journey to the US from Central America, make it easier to cross into Mexico.
“The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage, will provide for more border checkpoints along Mexico’s border with Guatemala, and offer more protection and even emergency medical care to those making their way north.” Medical care, protection, not stopping them. They’re going to help them and have been helping them along the way.
“The illegal aliens will receive a so-called Regional Visitor’s Card, according to El Universal. Officially, the program will grant the cards to only illegal aliens from Guatemala and Belize,” the Caribbean superpower. And these cards would allow “them to remain in Mexico’s southern states for 72 hours (more than enough time to reach the US/Mexican border by train).”
And as for the “ugly” part of Trump’s statement… Here’s just a thought for you, Mr. Bush: law-abiding innocent Americans were killed before Trump made his statement and they continue to be killed after he made his statement. Trump’s statement wasn’t ugly. THE CRIME SCENE PHOTOS FROM THE MURDER SCENE ARE UGLY.
Instead of whining about Donald Trump, why don’t you try visiting the surviving family members of the deceased? Use your line about illegal immigration being an “act of love.” That should go over well.
I’m for immigration. Almost all Americans are for immigration. Shoot, three quarters of us wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for immigration at one time or another. But we want LEGAL immigration. We want to know WHO is coming in and from where. We don’t want you or anyone else giving Victor Ramirez a free pass to kill decent law-abiding Americans in their own homes. Get some copies of the crime scene photos, and maybe that will remind you your allegiance is first and foremost to the American public.
