It’s already a sad state of affairs to see grown adult college students lose their minds and become so emotionally unhinged by the election of Donald Trump that they need safe spaces and “adult coloring books,” but what Georgetown University is doing for their delicate leftist snowflakes is taking nuttiness to a whole new level.Apparently a student group held a post-inauguration self-care event designed to help these poor tortured, triggered souls deal emotionally with the fact that Trump is now the sitting president.
The group was encouraging attendees to embrace their inner child using stuffed animals, juice boxes, and Lego. You just can’t make this stuff up.
According to Campus Reform:
The club invited its members to the event in a Welcome Back email, which was obtained by Campus Reform and included a section on “Post-inauguration self-care,” where GUPride urged its members to “embrace the inner child.”“Join GUPride for a night of relaxation, recovery, and rest after a long week,” the email states. “There will be legos [sic] and stuffed animals and coloring books—come to embrace the inner child and hang out with people :)”
In addition to the Legos, stuffed animals, and coloring books, the Facebook event for the self-care night promises juice boxes, as well.
GUPride does not appear to have any Inauguration events scheduled, although the GU College Democrats will be making posters for and sending a group to Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington. These individuals, ladies and gentlemen, will be the ones who will be running this country when we’re all using canes, walkers, and Depends.
If that doesn’t manage to give you nightmares tonight, you should question whether or nor you’re actually grasping how screwed future generations really are.
Does anyone recall conservatives needing any sort of “safe space” or juice box to feel better after Obama won the presidency not once, but TWICE?Me neither.
Our nation is going to end up one of the most weak and vulnerable countries in the world if these buttercups don’t learn to toughen up.
This is exactly what happens when you hand out participation trophies.
