In retaliation for the gruesome execution of Muath Al-Kassasbeh, the Kingdom of Jordan has delivered, as Shoebat.com says, its first gift to Caliph Al-Baghdadi, a parcel of raids against ISIS. Footage of the attack aired on Jordanian television.
In fact, King Abdullah himself is reportedly personally involved in executing air strikes against Islamic State positions, according to Breibart.
“The Jordanian King Abdullah II will participate personally on Thursday in conducting air strikes against the shelters of the terrorist ISIL organization to revenge the execution of the Jordanian pilot [Kasasbeh] by the ISIL,” said an IraqiNews report. It’s unclear whether the King personally suited up and flew a plane, or commanded units involved in the mission, but he is certainly capable of both.
Abullah II was a Major General in charge of Jordanian Special Forces before becoming King and is also certified as a Cobra Attack Helicopter Pilot. In 1980, he joined the UK’s Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the British Army.
(Just for comparison, our own illustrious Commander-in-Chief was…um…a member of the Choom Gang)In any event, Jordanian television aired footage of the attacks, and produced this slick video of its own to warn ISIS of what’s in store.
The attacks apparently killed at least 55 ISIS members, but there is some question whether Jordan is fighting in Syria, Iraq or both. Shoebat.com says it could all be part of a tactic to cause confusion. “The Kingdom of Jordan has tremendous experience in this type of warfare having fought the Palestinians in the seventies and understands the Muslim mindset better than westerners.”
The King has said he will fight ISIS until his military runs out of “fuel and bullets.” In a closed-door meeting with Washington lawmakers earlier this week, “He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn’t seen,” said Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., a Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, who was in the meeting with the king. “He mentioned ‘Unforgiven’ and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie,” according to The Political Insider.
“Hunter would not say which part of “Unforgiven” the king quoted, but noted it was where Eastwood’s character describes how he is going to deliver his retribution. There is a scene in the picture in which Eastwood’s character, William Munny, says, “Any man I see out there, I’m gonna kill him. Any son of a bitch takes a shot at me, I’m not only going to kill him, I’m going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down.”
In this war against evil, the Jordanians are fortunate to have a warrior king to lead their fight.
We have…? A…uh…I’m sorry. Let’s just change the subject.
