HORRIFIC: Over 300 shot; 45 KILLED in violent spree

Today is the last day of April. We have one more full day to go. But to date, in Chicago, 301 people have been shot and 45 of them have died.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, this weekend, Three people were killed and eight others were wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening, according to Chicago police.

The first killing of the weekend happened about 5:30 p.m. Friday in Longwood Manor on the South Side. Two men, ages 26 and 27, showed up at Roseland Community Hospital after the attack in the 200-block of West 98th Place. The older man died, and the younger was in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said. The older man’s identity has not been released.

The most recent nonfatal shooting happened about about 3:35 a.m. Sunday in the Chinatown neighborhood on the South Side. A 27-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2400-block of South Canal when he heard shots and felt pain, police said. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his left arm and then was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

Per stats from HeyJackass.com, currently in Chicago, a person is shot every two hours and 45 minutes. One person is murdered basically every 15 hours.

In 90 percent of the cases, no suspect has been charged.

Not a single shooting in April involved a police officer. In fact, in 2017 to date, 99.4 percent of shootings in Chicago did NOT involve a police officer.

So far this year, 1036 people have been shot; 181 shot dead.

Eighty-percent of the victims are black.

But hey! Black lives matter!
