I know liberals are just DESPERATE to highlight Hillary Clinton’s achievements, just justify her qualifications presidents. Heck, even American Idol crooner, gay rights activist and erstwhile congressional candidate Clay Aiken had trouble coming up with a single one.So I’d like to lend a hand and offer my list of her top achievements.
As you might recall, there were the two individuals pushing for deposing Gaddafi. I will give you a hint, one of them was not George W. Bush — I hope that helps. But it was during the Bush administration that Gaddafi surrendered his nuclear weapons program. The ill-conceived and executed operation to outsource American military power to Islamists in Libya has come back to haunt us in ways that will not end in the near future.
Oh wait…and now this. ISIS-aligned Islamic terrorists just executed two attacks on embassies in Libya. As reported by Reuters, “A bomb exploded at the gate of the Moroccan embassy in the Libyan capital early on Monday, causing some damage but hurting nobody, a security official said, only hours after gunmen attacked South Korea’s mission in Tripoli. Militants claiming loyalty to Islamic State said on twitter they were responsible for both attacks, the latest strikes against foreigners, embassies or oilfields in Libya.”
“It was not possible to verify the authenticity of the claims. Islamic State militants have exploited chaos in the North African country where two governments allied to a host of armed groups fight for control four years after the ousting of Muammar Gaddafi.”2. Russia
Any of you remember that cute little yellow box with the red button called the “Russian reset button” presented by Hillary Clinton to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov? Or for that matter, remember that quick off-mic moment of Barack Obama whispering to then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, “tell Putin after my reelection I will have more flexibility” — to wit Medvedev replied, “I will tell Vladimir.” And let’s not forget Obama’s cancellation of the missile defense shield for our Eastern European allies. So what message did that send to ol’ Vladimir?
Ok, here’s a few more: the invasion of the Crimea and eastern Ukraine — to include the shooting down of a civilian airliner. The overt threats to NATO allies in the Baltic States and even Denmark and close intercepts against military aircraft — and Russian bomber flights near US territory. But in these past 72 hours we’ve seen even greater Russian belligerence directed right at the United States. First, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon, “A Russia Su-27 jet fighter flew dangerously close and nearly collided with a U.S. reconnaissance aircraft this week in the latest aerial provocation by Moscow, defense officials revealed to the Washington Free Beacon. The Su-27 conducted the close-in intercept of an RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft in international airspace over the Baltic Sea on Tuesday, said officials. The incident prompted a diplomatic protest. “On the morning of April 7th, a U.S. RC-135U flying a routine route in international airspace was intercepted by a Russian Su-27 Flanker in an unsafe and unprofessional manner,” said Pentagon spokeswoman Eileen M. Lainez. “The United States is raising this incident with Russia in the appropriate diplomatic and official channels,” she said in a statement. A defense official said the Russian fighter jet flew within 20 feet of the unarmed reconnaissance jet in what the official called a “reckless” encounter that endangered the lives of the RC-135 crew.”
I am quite sure the “appropriate diplomatic and official channels” mean very little to a tough guy like Putin, former KGB, who is exploiting his granted “flexibility” and playing around with the fun toy “rest button.”
These are acts of planned aggression that cannot be responded to with statements of complaint — thugs only understand action. Imagine the contrast of one American president demanding “tear down this wall” — and just like in the days of Joshua and Jericho, the wall came tumbling down. But wait, there’s more.
