The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results. And you’d think President Obama would have come to realize that you cannot lead or govern a nation based on campaign promises and ideological agendas — especially when the global security atmosphere warrants against it. So, in a week that has seen horrific Islamic terrorist attacks in Brussels — and the residual police raids not just in Belgium but also France — Obama makes this insane declaration. As reported by the Washington Examiner, “In a brief Easter weekend radio address, President Obama vowed to decimate the self-proclaimed Islamic State, but he said the United States will do so by offering an example of freedom, tolerance and open society.
“Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence; our determination to win the battle against ISIL’s hateful and violent propaganda — a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause,” are paramount in the fight, Obama told Americans during his weekly radio address.Admitting entry to Syrian and Iraqi refugees has become a divisive issue in the U.S. as well as Europe, but Obama made clear he has no plan to back off his promise to admit 100,000 to the U.S. this year. “We have to wield another weapon alongside our airstrikes, our military, our counterterrorism work, and our diplomacy,” Obama said. “And that’s the power of our example. Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence. Our determination to win the battle against ISIL’s hateful and violent propaganda – a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause.”
First of all, President Obama needs to know that this is not some “distorted view of Islam” being proselytized. These are the exact intents emanating from Mohammad after his Al Hijra migration, circa 622 AD, from Mecca to Medina.
From that point on, the religious belief known as Islam has had a consistent and imperialistic violent history that runs to today. Perhaps Obama should read history and learn from the conversation between Thomas Jefferson and John Adams with the Dey of Algiers — those men went on to become U.S. presidents. And Jefferson learned that he had to respond to the vicious attacks of the Barbary pirates against our young nation.Once again we have Barack Obama demonstrating his delusion. He believes shutting down GITMO will deter Islamic terror recruiting efforts. He now believes that in order to be successful against the Islamic jihad, we should open our country to those from ISIS-held areas — unless you’re an Assyrian, Chaldean, Copt, or Yazidi. Heck, Obama only recently woke up and realized those Christians and religious minorities are facing an ISIS admitted genocide.
What in God’s name is driving President Obama to make such damning and insidious declarations? It wasn’t too long ago that incompetent and abject failure of our immigration system allowed one Tashfeen Malik entry into the United States on a fiancée visa. She provided false residence information, which was never verified. The result? Fourteen Americans dead and twenty-one wounded in the Islamic jihadist attack in San Bernardino. To wit, Barack Obama responded with a call for more gun control – and if he hadn’t noticed, San Bernardino is located in California, home to some of the strictest gun control laws in America.
Now, knowing that these attackers in Brussels have used the “migration” of refugees from Syria and the Middle East as cover, Obama presses on with his insane objective. Perhaps he should realize we also have a festering issue in the United States with domestic Islamic jihadism in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and as we shared yesterday, in northern Virginia.I have no issue with admitting true refugees, but why has this been denied to Christians? If Obama wants to be specific and allow the elderly and little children, no one would argue that point. However, there should be no repeat of what we’ve witnessed in Europe: droves of single military-aged Muslim males. And let’s not forget the recent Islamic jihadist refugee from Iraq arrested in Houston who had designs on attacking military installations. It just appears President Obama cares more about being an Islamist sympathizer than ensuring the security of his fellow American citizens — that cannot be debated, unless you like his tango moves.
Yes, I do believe there should be a suspension of individuals migrating from ANY country listed on the terror watch list, or that has active Islamic terror organization activity. We need a complete review of our visa granting procedures to ensure another Tashfeen Malik does not happen. Those are the types of policies a real American leader would be articulating. Not this ideological-driven PC nonsense trying to convince us that kindness wins the day.
Clearly Obama hasn’t paid attention to the political fallout facing German Chancellor Angela Merkel — who probably wishes she hadn’t made such a fateful decision. But then again, he’s not facing re-election.Americans are sympathetic to the plights of others, the oppressed, which is why SFC Charles Martland struck down an Afghan police chief who’d been raping a 12-year-old boy and beating the child’s mother. Until the greater Muslim community shows it’s not lining up with PC multiculturalism nonsense, sadly, they will be held accountable for harboring and providing of sanctuary for these Islamic jihadists. To hold the Muslim community across Western civilization to a high standard is not racist, xenophobic, or Islamophobic – it’s about survival.
And I close with one of my favorite quotes that truly characterizes President Obama’s actions in this regard.
As attributed to Roman Statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero,
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
