Many of you have heard by now of Google’s crackdown on “fake news” websites. Google would discourage their use by making them ineligible for ad revenue through Google Adsense. While we’d love to see fake and misleading content banished from the internet, when it comes to what’s classified as “fake” we end up with a problem. A popular list of “fake” sites created by a leftist professor included Breitbart, World Net Daily, Daily Wire and The Blaze. In other words, a number of legitimate conservative websites were lumped in with “fake” sites.
Speaking of fake news however, maybe the Democrat Party should be the ones we’re turning our attention towards, as they legitimately seem to think Donald Trump is going to start putting people in camps (I guess even they believe their own rhetoric).
And yes, he really thinks Muslims are on the verge of being rounded up (which would be pretty hard, as we’d have to acquire the ability to read people’s minds as to know their religious beliefs).
Takei writes, But the interning of Japanese Americans in 1942 is not a “historical, factual precedent” to follow. In America, we do not imprison someone without trial. We do not imprison someone for their race or religion. Congress and the White House recognized this, when after many decades the nation issued an apology and modest reparations to the survivors. We had thought a national consensus had at last been achieved, and that we would never go back to those times, nor to the thinking that brought them about.
That thinking was steeped in fear and racism, pure and simple. This is just as a Muslim registry, a Muslim ban, or Muslim camps would be. And we cannot permit it.Well, hard not to agree. But let me be the first to point out the obvious in the Democrat Party bemoaning the horrors of Japanese internment…
Insane. We should never elect anyone again from the Party responsible for that. https://t.co/6H2aXOF4Qn

After all, they’re the ones who came up with the idea in the first place.
