Well, it’s official folks: the Democratic National Committee, as a collective whole, has finally gone “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.”Many of you are likely thinking that happened long ago, and in all honesty your case would be most convincing, but the latest shenanigans coming from white lady Sally Boynton Brown, a candidate for DNC chair, proves that the left’s loss to Trump has absolutely fried their brains.
According to Brown, if she’s given the job of heading up the DNC, her sole mission is going to be “shutting other white people down.”Can’t say she’s not a dreamer.
According to The Daily Caller:
Sally Boynton Brown, a white woman running for chair of the Democratic National Committee, said Monday that if she is chosen to lead the party her job will be to “shut other white people down.”“My job is to shut other white people down when they want to interrupt,” Brown said during a DNC candidate forum.
Brown, the executive director of the Idaho Democratic Committee, is running for the chair position against six other candidates, including three African-American candidates and one Hispanic, former Labor Secretary Tom Perez.
“My job is to shut other white people down when they want to say, ‘oh, no, I’m not prejudiced; I’m a Democrat; I’m accepting,’” Brown bellowed during the forum, which was hosted by MSNBC’s Joy Reid.“Black lives matter and it makes me sad that we’re even having that conversation, and that tells me that white leaders in our party have failed,” she lamented.
Among other jobs she said she will undertake as DNC chair is “[making] sure that [white people] get that they have privilege.”
“Until we shut our mouths and we listen to those people who don’t and lift our people up so that we all have equity in this country, so that we’re all fighting alongside each other, so that we are all on the same page and we clearly get where we’re going, we’re not going to break through this.”So, in other words, if Brown gets the job of heading up the DNC, she fully plans to continue pushing the same failed racially divisive narrative they’ve been pushing for the last decade in hopes of continuing to lock in minority voters to win future elections.
Democrats are experts at promising minorities and those trapped in poverty all sorts of hope, change, prosperity, and free stuff so long as they vote for them come November, but then suddenly get amnesia when it comes time to actually deliver on those promises.
This election cycle clearly demonstrated that folks are starting to catch on to the ruse, as evidenced by Donald Trump’s inaugural address, which laid out his agenda for minority communities and empowerment.
We do that and people like Brown will be out of a job and our nation will finally be able to heal.
