While President Obama could find it in his heart to spend only 4 minutes in reflection at the wake for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, he managed to carve out a full ninety minutes to meet with the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement on Thursday. With absolutely no irony whatsoever, Time magazine reports, 31-year-old activist and educator Brittany Packnett sat beside President Obama at a table in the Roosevelt Room of the White House for a unique meeting of the minds.

The nation’s first African American president convened a group of activists, both young and old, for a discussion on how he can spend his final year in office tackling issues that impact the black community—from criminal justice reform to police-community relations. After the meeting, President Obama also called it a robust conversation, saying “there’s no better way for us to celebrate Black History Month.”
In fact, the president thanked the leaders of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, calling it “outstanding work.”
I wonder which part he’s most proud of? Burning cars, looting stores or shooting cops?[Note: This article was written by Michele Hickford]
