Clean-up crews at Dakota pipeline camp make HORRIFIC discovery; MSM silent

Last week, authorities (with the support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe) cleared out demonstrators protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL).

Several hundred protesters remained at the Oceti Sakowin camp which at its peak during the summer housed thousands. The protesters set up camp in August to block the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline because of the environmental threat they said it posed to the area’s water supply.

But they clearly had little sincere concern for the environment.

Per PJ Media, Gov. Doug Burgum (R) told KFGO the DAPL protesters left behind tons of garbage that will have to be cleaned up before the annual snowmelt. He compared the camp where tents had been set up and wooden structures built to something between a landfill and a junkyard.

“This is probably the biggest ecological mess on the entire Missouri River system from top to bottom in this country,” Burgum said.

The Associated Press reported that local and federal officials think there could be enough trash and garbage left behind by the protesters to fill 2,500 pickup trucks.

Those progressives. So kind to the environment. But that wasn’t even the worst part.

They left behind their dogs…and puppies. PUPPIES!

The Washington Free Beacon reports, The group Furry Friends Rockin Rescue, a local animal rescue Bismark, North Dakota, found and rescued two abandoned dogs and six puppies at the camp site.

More than a dozen abandoned dogs at the protest site do not have permanent homes and an estimated 20 dogs are left at the site, according to MyNDNow.com.

Furry Friends is still working hard to locate these dogs and place them in good homes.

Julie Schirado, founder of Furry Friends noted that some of the dogs have frost bite, wounded paws, signs of hypothermia, and other potential ailments.

One problem is that the protesters left the camp behind so full of garbage that it is difficult to locate the dogs.

“It’s a mess down there, so it’s really, really hard to find these animals and get them,” Schirado said.

Another difficulty is that loud machinery is being used in the cleanup effort, making it hard to catch the dogs.

Authorities are trying to clear the camp of debris before it fills with water and garbage leaks into the tribe’s water supply.

Don’t you just love the way liberals try to “save the planet?” They dump truckloads of trash and human waste, potentially poison the water supply for a Native American tribe and then abandon puppies to die.

But they’re so CARING.
