As we reported yesterday, President Obama has now inserted himself into Democrat efforts to undermine the validity of last month’s election, which handed Donald J. Trump the presidency in one of the biggest electoral college victories we’ve seen. The president ordered a “full review” of election-related hacking aimed at disrupting the presidential election — and said he expected the report before he leaves office on January 20th.Well, the same administration that’s taking years to hand over some emails and calendar records from former secretary of state Hillary Clinton (who left office nearly four years ago) appears to have already managed to turn around this investigation — at least if you believe the Washington Post. The CIA’s report on a “secret assessment” (from the most transparent admin ever) that concluded Russia did intervene was “leaked” to the Washington Post late Friday. (Incidentally, you might recall it was the Washington Post who also leaked the now-infamous Trump tape back in October late one Friday. Hmm.)
There’s just one ginormous problem with this bombshell of a report that the CIA has supposedly found indisputable evidence the Russians intentionally interfered with our election to help Donald Trump win. There’s no evidence to support the “evidence.”
Via The Gateway Pundit:
In a statement released Friday night, President-Elect Donald Trump blasted the CIA over a leaked report that claimed, without evidence of direct involvement, that Russia interfered in the recent presidential election to help elect Trump over rival Hillary Clinton. The leaked CIA report was first reported by the Washington Post Friday evening.
The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system, according to officials briefed on the matter.
…The CIA presentation to senators about Russia’s intentions fell short of a formal U.S. assessment produced by all 17 intelligence agencies. A senior U.S. official said there were minor disagreements among intelligence officials about the agency’s assessment, in part because some questions remain unanswered. For example, intelligence agencies do not have specific intelligence showing officials in the Kremlin “directing” the identified individuals to pass the Democratic emails to WikiLeaks, a second senior U.S. official said. Those actors, according to the official, were “one step” removed from the Russian government, rather than government employees. Moscow has in the past used middlemen to participate in sensitive intelligence operations so it has plausible deniability.
Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has said in a television interview that the “Russian government is not the source.”
Independent reporter Michael Tracy hit the nail on the head when he noted the decisive lack of evidence in the article.
There is no evidence presented in this article. Liberals want everyone to uncritically accept anonymous CIA claims https://t.co/3Lw2vIAwRe— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) December 10, 2016
Unverifiable whispers from unnamed CIA officials which are then leaked to the Washington Post doesn’t constitute “evidence” — it’s hearsay.

Drudge Report put the label on the WaPo story it would appear to deserve: “fake news.” And yet, liberal “journalists” are running with it, because it’s not fake news as long as it fits their narrative.
“Russia hacked the election to help Trump” is now congealing into conventional wisdom, even though there is ***still no evidence for this***

Meanwhile, while everyone argues about who did the hacking that exposed the Democrats for who they are, let’s not lose sight of a couple other pertinent points:
- The Democrats’ electronic communications had be left vulnerable in order for anyone, whoever it was, to hack them. The responsibility for that lies squarely on the Democrats themselves.
- And the hacks simply revealed the truth about what these Democrats were saying and doing in private. Merely exposing the dirty dealings being perpetrated by the Democrats themselves. If they were clean, the hacks wouldn’t have been damaging — wouldn’t have helped Trump — at all.
But as we’re seeing in spades this post-election season, the Democrats cannot get a grip on the fact that they LOST. And they’re desperate to blame anyone but themselves.
