JUST IN: Hillary campaign takes stage, says 3 words NO ONE saw coming…

UPDATE: The race has been called now for Donald Trump! And sources say Hillary did call Trump to concede, though she will not address supporters.

The presidential results are still being counted, even as some pollsters have called the election for GOP nominee Donald Trump.

From The New York Times:

With six electoral votes between Donald Trump and the White House, one might think this election is close to over and perhaps worth waiting up a bit longer.

Certainly, supporters of both major candidates have been waiting for hours to see this to its conclusion.

Apparently, Hillary Clinton’s supporters have been waiting in vain to hear from her. Her campaign chairman John Podesta has just spoken to the crowd and made an announcement that disappointed supporters — and had many observers wondering just what it means.

As CNN reports:

John Podesta just announced to the Javits Center in New York, where Hillary Clinton was holding her election night party, that she would not concede the election or speak tonight.

“I know you’ve been here a long time and it’s been a long night and it’s been a long campaign, but I can say, we can wait a little longer, can’t we?” Podesta said to cheers. “We’re still counting votes and every vote should count. Several states are too close to call, so we’re not going to have anything more to say tonight.”

“She is not done yet. … Let’s get the votes counted and bring this home,” he added.

Not done yet? To be clear, the votes have not all been counted, though even the hardcore left media have acknowledged a Hillary win at this point has become improbable, if not impossible at this point.

But one can’t help but wonder… does Podesta’s announcement mean simply that Clinton wants to get some sleep (and perhaps regain her composure) while the final votes are counted — before she concedes graciously tomorrow?

Or could this mean the Clinton campaign is gearing up to challenge the election results — the very thing they were horrified that Trump suggested he might do if he felt there was reason?

Or are they going to somehow “find” votes that turn this race around?

Whatever the case, it appears we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
