Sources state that disgraced national security adviser, Mike Flynn, is set to turn over documents related to alleged “collusion” with Russia to the Senate Intelligence Committee.Fox News is reporting:
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn will hand over records from two of his businesses to the Senate intelligence committee, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday. The Journal, citing a person familiar with the matter, could begin turning over the documents to Senate investigators as soon as next week.
Flynn, who was fired as national security adviser in February, rebuffed an initial subpoena from the committee by invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. The committee’s leaders responded by subpoenaing records related to Flynn’s lobbying businesses, which are not subject to Fifth Amendment protections.
