The hammer may be about to fall on President Obama’s global climate change agreement, originating from a 2015 meeting during which elite politicians pledged to “strive to end the use of oil, gas and coal as power sources, replaced with wind and solar power, as well as continued use of nuclear power.” ( So are we all supposed to return to horse and buggy or bicycles for our one-hour commute?)Early on, then-candidate Trump was fairly vocal about the fact that he wasn’t sold on the whole global warming/climate change brouhaha. Since 2012 the Donald has been making Al Gore’s head spin with tweets challenging the theory that climate change is a threat. Some gems here…
It's really cold outside, they are calling it a major freeze, weeks ahead of normal. Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!

This very expensive GLOBAL WARMING bullshit has got to stop. Our planet is freezing, record low temps, and our GW scientists are stuck in ice

It’s snowing & freezing in NYC. What the hell ever happened to global warming?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 21, 2013
Ice storm rolls from Texas to Tennessee – I'm in Los Angeles and it's freezing. Global warming is a total, and very expensive, hoax!

After years of these tweets, it should surprise no one that President Trump announced early on that he may pull the United States support for the G-7 agreement.
In fact, The Hill is reporting that President Trump has actually made up his mind to abandon it.“President Trump has told several people close to him that he plans to leave the Paris climate change agreement, according to a new report.
Axios reports that Trump, who has said publicly he hasn’t yet made up his mind the pact, has told multiple people, including EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, that he plans to remove the U.S. from the agreement.
Pruitt’s EPA has been working to build public support for withdrawing from the Paris pact, the news outlet noted, adding that top EPA staffers were “relieved” when Trump refused to join other G7 leaders in reaffirming their commitment to the agreement.
Trump reportedly told French President Emmanuel Macron that he was under “heavy pressure” in the U.S. to stay in the deal. Trump tweeted on Saturday that he would make his final decision on the agreement next week.”
Heavy pressure aside, I (Ashley Edwardson) hope the president does decide to scrap this budget-busting, job-killing, nonsensical agreement, even if it does mean upsetting Al Gore and the Pope.
Even the U.S. Government Accounting Office (GAO) can’t name one single benefit the American taxpayers are getting from the billions and billions of dollars spent each year purportedly aimed at addressing climate change.
The G-7 agreement was just another BAD deal Obama signed us up for and left us holding the tab.
