BOMBSHELL claim: It was a SET-UP

Instead of moving back to where they’re from as past ex-presidents have done, or at least moving someplace else as the Clintons did, Barack Obama decided to stay in Washington D.C., “relocating” just a stone’s throw from Capital Hill.

The move raised more than a few eyebrows and caused a chorus of conservatives to theorize that the reason Obama is hanging around town is to sit at the head of a ‘shadow government‘ which would work to constantly impede Donald Trump, his agenda, and with any luck at all, find a way to get him removed from office.

Information is coming to light that this entire “Russia hacking the election” narrative and supposedly “clandestine meetings” between Attorney General Jeff Sessions and “the Russians” may all be one big set up.

The New York Times, not exactly known for its Republican partisanship, and others reported that, “In the Obama administration’s last days, some White House officials scrambled to spread information about Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election — and about possible contacts between associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Russians — across the government. Former American officials say they had two aims: to ensure that such meddling isn’t duplicated in future American or European elections, and to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators.”

It’s established that there’s nothing unusual about a sitting member of the Senate armed services committee (which Sessions was at the time) meeting with a foreign ambassador, yet Democrats are treating this particular meeting as if it were an act of high treason.  We’ve now learned that the very meeting Democrats are using as a basis for demanding Sessions’ resignation was set up by the Obama administration in the first place!

Details on Jeff Sessions’ first meeting with the Russian ambassador in 2016 are beginning to surface.  Turns out that Sessions spoke to the Russian ambassador on the invitation of the Obama Administration itself.

Fox News reports:

“The first came at a conference on “Global Partners in Diplomacy,” where Sessions was the keynote speaker. Sponsored by the U.S. State Department, The Heritage Foundation, and several other organizations, it was held in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention.”

“The conference was an educational program for ambassadors invited by the Obama State Department to observe the convention. The Obama State Department handled all of the coordination with ambassadors and their staff, of which there were about 100 at the conference.”

“Apparently, after Sessions finished speaking, a small group of ambassadors—including the Russian ambassador—approached the senator as he left the stage and thanked him for his remarks. That’s the first “meeting.” And it’s hardly an occasion—much less a venue—in when a conspiracy to “interfere” with the November election could be hatched.”

Talk about a set up. So you arrange a meeting. The meeting happens. Then after the fact you crucify the guy who attended the meeting for having an inappropriate meeting….that YOU set up!

Those final two words, “set up”, may be heading toward a new level of meaningfulness. As for anyone asking “how does a ‘shadow government’ even work?” Here’s your answer.
