What a bizarre spectacle it was during the Univision-Washington Post Democrat Debate when I found myself feeling bad for Jorge Ramos.
The journalist who previously made headlines for being kicked out of a Trump rally by the Donald himself asked Hillary a question about Benghazi during the debate.
I want to continue with the issue of trust. Secretary Clinton, on the night of the attacks in Benghazi, you sent an e-mail to your daughter Chelsea …
The audience erupted with boos. Apparently even the anticipation of a real question is too much to handle.
Ramos plowed through, noting that Clinton had emailed Chelsea Clinton to say that al-Qaida “was responsible for the killing of the Americans.” Over more booing, Ramos trudged onward, saying that “some of the families claim that you lied to them” — especially Patricia Smith, the mother of State Department official Sean Smith, who died in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2012.Hillary pretended to show some sympathy for the Benghazi families – before politicizing the issue, partially blaming the attacks on a video (for how long has that claim been debunked?)
Patricia Smith had some very select words in response to Hillary after the debate.“I want to speak to her personally, and I want to be able to ask her what happened, and I want her to be able to tell me what happened. I don’t believe she’s got the guts to do that. As Madeleine Albright said, there’s special place in hell for people like her, and I hope she enjoys it there.
I don’t know why she wouldn’t. She can’t have many friends in heaven.
