Iran’s chief says destruction of Israel nonnegotiable; Left’s response is PREDICTABLE

There are some things in life that are predictable. Hillary Clinton swiping her private server clean. Harry Reid admitting he lied about Mitt Romney and not paying his taxes on the Senate floor. Iran stalling on the nuclear deal — that is REALLY predictable. And lastly, Iran’s expressed hatred of Israel.

The final assertion was just recently confirmed once again. As reported by the Times of Israel, “The commander of the Basij militia of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that “erasing Israel off the map” is “nonnegotiable,” according to an Israel Radio report Tuesday. Militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi also threatened Saudi Arabia, saying that the offensive it is leading in Yemen “will have a fate like the fate of Saddam Hussein.”

“In 2014, Naqdi said Iran was stepping up efforts to arm West Bank Palestinians for battle against Israel, adding the move would lead to Israel’s annihilation, Iran’s Fars news agency reported. “Arming the West Bank has started and weapons will be supplied to the people of this region,” Naqdi said. “The Zionists should know that the next war won’t be confined to the present borders and the Mujahedeen will push them back,” he added.”

“Naqdi claimed that much of Hamas’s arsenal, training and technical knowhow in the summer conflict with Israel was supplied by Iran. The Basij is a religious volunteer force established in 1979 by the country’s revolutionary leaders, and has served as a moral police and to suppress dissent.”

And exactly what religion is that? Just yesterday we reported about the deep incursions of Hezbollah into the Golan Heights, and now we have Iranian military leadership admitting how they will continue to arm Islamic terrorist groups. Now, does anyone see the complete insanity here?

This Iranian militia chief proclaims a definitive threat against out best ally in the Middle East, vowing that erasing Israel off the map is non-negotiable — and we are negotiating with the same country to acquire nuclear capability. They walked away again for the umpteenth time — and thanks to our president, there are no sanctions at the ready to institute. And I recall the reason for not having sanctions legislation ready was that it would drive the Iranians from the negotiating table — looks that they weren’t driven way, they just simply walked. Again.

I forgot, there’s other thing that’s predictable — American acquiescence and submission. If it isn’t bad enough that over the past weekend, the Ayatollah Khamenei joined in with the “Death to America” chant, now this. And remember, those Iranians sitting at the table are not empowered to make any “deals.” the decision emanates from the supreme leader.

Hey, another point of ironic inquiry, why is the liberal progressive left not screaming about separation of church and state when it comes to Iran?

I already find it rather perplexing that the leftist progressives are accepting of sitting at the table to negotiate with a religious system that kills gays and lesbians, but they’d much rather go apoplectic on Gov. Mike Pence and Christians — again, predictable.

And where is the war on women screech when it comes to the Basij, the religious monitoring police? In January, a draft law that would have given greater powers to the Basij to enforce women’s compulsory wearing of the veil was ruled unconstitutional — whew, they were really about to go overboard there.

Regardless, did you read the entire sentence — compulsory wearing — and we are therefore sitting with a country that denies basic women’s rights while here in America, women’s rights are defined by the killing of babies — predictable.

What I don’t want to label as predictable will be the ultimate assault waged against Israel and the acquiring of nuclear weapon capability by Iran — but we are indeed setting the conditions for that to occur.

The Iranians know they are holding the high ground and there has been no challenge to their willful belligerence, no consequences for their actions whatsoever. Well, save for the fact that the Saudis have finally awakened and realized they have a burgeoning Shiite threat along their southern border. However, I would advise the Saudis that airpower cannot defeat an enemy on the ground — it takes ground forces.

Predictably, Iran is supporting the terrorists aligned against Israel, so why are we chatting them up — actually, we’re chasing the Iranians like some little school girl with hurt feelings. Now that, ladies and gents, previously was not a predictable American foreign policy behavior.

Where does this all end? Predictably in January 2017 when a true resolute, courageous, committed, and forthright American president is sworn in. Until then, predictably, things will only get worse.
