Just this week the Vatican decided to recognize the “Palestinian State.” The question has to be which state? Is it recognizing the one in the Gaza Strip run by the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas, which has in its charter the destruction of Israel? Or does the Vatican recognize the one in the West Bank, headquartered in Ramallah, run by the original Islamic terrorist organization, Fatah? And for those of you who’d say Fatah is not a terrorist organization — surely you jest.
Why, here is just another example. As reported by Palestinian Media Watch, “Continuing the Palestinian Authority and Fatah policy of glorifying murderous terrorists, Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki last month praised arch-terrorist Abu Jihad as someone who “Allah created just to confront this enemy” – Israel.
On Fatah-run Awdah TV, Zaki extolled Abu Jihad who was behind attacks that killed at least 125 Israelis, describing several of them as “prominent.” Zaki also praised Abu Jihad’s “talent for persuading young people to die as Martyrs.” This is also in line with PA and Fatah policy, and was recently reiterated by Fatah and Fatah’s youth movement.”
Of course if a picture is like a thousand words, then a video is priceless.
And just in case you prefer the words, here is the text of the video:
“Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki: “[Abu Jihad] was a substantial threat to Israel, starting with the Savoy operation (i.e., terror attack, Savoy hotel Tel Aviv, 11 killed) to the Dalal Mughrabi operation (i.e., bus hijacking, 37 killed). I am talking about the large-scale operations, the prominent ones and not the small ones: Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., bus hijacking 37 killed), Dimona (i.e., attack on bus, 3 killed) and the attempt to capture the [Israeli] Ministry of Defense. That is why this man, who it seems Allah created just to confront this enemy, dedicated his time to serious activity. Likewise, he had a talent for persuading young people to die as Martyrs and to always be prepared to sacrifice, give and be patient… Everyone should know that this region needs pioneers [on] the path of brother Abu Jihad.”
I just have to ask, did the Vatican pay attention to this rhetoric just spoken last month? Is it dismissing the hatred, the vile and vitriolic words daily displayed on Palestinian TV? Does the Pontiff not comprehend that Islamic jihad that is being waged against Jews and Christians in the Middle East and the validation his recognition just afforded? And this is not the first time Mr. Zaki has made such hate-filled statements.“Palestinian Media Watch has documented that Zaki previously has expressed his support for violence, stating that Palestinians have been granted permission to use “all means of struggle” against Israel by the international community, citing UN resolution 3236.”
“PA leaders and officials often legitimize Palestinian violence by quoting UN resolution 3236, which “recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to regain its rights by all means.” The PA interprets “all means” as including violence against civilians, but has chosen to ignore the continuation of the resolution, which states that the use of “all means” should be “in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations…” The UN Charter prohibits targeting civilians, even in war. Chapter 1, Article 1, opens by saying that the “international disputes” should be resolved “by peaceful means.”
Ask yourself when was the last time you saw the venerable United Nations issue a resolution of condemnation against Fatah or Hamas? We reported to y’all during the last Israel-Hamas conflagration how one UN representative chastised Israel for not sharing its Iron Dome system with Hamas. That’s just how insidious the anti-Semitism has become. Sadly, we can now count the Vatican as being amongst the roster of countries, nations, and organizations hell bent on advocating the isolation and destruction of Israel by its policies and actions. And worse, it seems that the current Obama administration wants to be counted in that number — but the saints are not marching in.
Why is the world siding with those who refute the promise of “never again” — first they deny the Holocaust, then seek to repeat it.
Palestinian Media Watch shared this little tidbit from January this year, “Headline: “Jericho Marks 50th anniversary of the launch of the Palestinian revolution” “The masses of the Jericho and [Jordan] Valley district marked the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Palestinian revolution with a mass celebration yesterday [Jan. 4, 2014] at the residence of the District Governor of the Jericho and [Jordan] Valley district…Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki… emphasized that it is the right of the Palestinian people to use all forms of resistance, including armed struggle. [He added that] at this difficult and sensitive stage, we have succeeded, through our popular resistance and our diplomacy, in isolating Israel, which has become a liability for its allies.”
One thing is certainly true about this statement. These Islamic jiahdists calling themselves the Palestinian Authority — Fatah — have indeed succeeded in isolating Israel and thanks to the cowardice of the leaders in the West, Israel is portrayed as a liability. A liability that one President Barack Hussein Obama is willing to sacrifice to the ravenous Islamic wolves of Iran.
