Generally speaking, life is good for New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick. Having just captured his 5th Super Bowl as a head coach, Belichick is widely considered the greatest coach in NFL history. Moreover, his Patriots look poised to sit atop the NFL again, being favored by most experts to repeat as Super Bowl champions this coming season.Of course, Belichick has also seen his share of controversy as an NFL coach. In 2007, the Patriots were mired in the “Sypgate” scandal after being caught taping other team’s hand signals. A few years later, Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady were involved in the “Deflategate” scandal over the correct PSI of footballs.
Nevertheless, Belichick has been able to overcome the distractions and continue winning championships. However, he probably didn’t guess his next controversy would be over an innocuous t-shirt he wore on vacation.
From Bizpac Review:
Bill Belichick found himself in some hot water with social justice warriors last week for a T-shirt he wore while on vacation. The New England Patriot’s coach was spotted wearing a green shirt with stick figure drawings of a soldier and, what appears to be, a terrorist.
The drawing showed the turban-wearing terrorist being attacked by a dog while the soldier stood with his rifle.
The terrorist’s eyes were marked with “x’s,” which is the cartoon symbol for death, with the caption “life is great.”Predictably, the shirt didn’t go over well with snowflakes:
A writer for the far left website Vice’s sub division Vice Sports, Sean Newell, panned the shirt as “pretty weird! Some might even say offensive.”Civil rights activist Tariq Nasheed, who finds a way to relate everything to being anti-black, thought it resembled dogs attacking black men.
This is a very interesting shirt that Patriots GM Bill Belichick has on. It reminds me of that video of a police dog mauling a Black man pic.twitter.com/7TpJeq2ThR

In this day and age, practically anything can offend liberals. As Belichick is finding out, even a shirt depicting the killing of what is clearly meant to be a terrorist is on that list of offensive things.
Unsurprisingly, this isn’t the first time Belichick has found himself in hot water with liberals. Prior to the Super Bowl, many on the left were cheering for the opposing Falcons because of Belichick’s support of Donald Trump’s candidacy. But just like the election, the Super Bowl ended with sadness for liberals when Belichick’s Patriots overcame a 28-3 deficit to claim their 5th title.
