Well, there’s no coming together or any semblance of civility as the world reels from yet another Islamic terror attack in London last night.Of course, our president, Donald Trump quickly took to Twitter to express his horror for the attack, and support for the victims.
Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 3, 2017
But he also urged that we drop the “political correctness” in order to more effectively combat this growing danger.
We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worse— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 4, 2017
And more specifically, renewed his calls for the court to approve the temporary travel ban for seven countries (as identified by Barack Obama).
We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 3, 2017
It was that least comment which caught of ire of Iranian-born CNN host, Reza Aslan, who promptly called out the president as a piece of excrement for even entertaining such an idea to protect American citizens.
This piece of shit is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency. He's an embarrassment to humankind. https://t.co/Dl5tMQMhMO
— Reza Aslan (@rezaaslan) June 3, 2017
Aslan’s attack immediately drew fire from Trump supporters.
CNN host more upset about trump denouncing the attack than the attack itself.

Glad you're more worried about him than the murders in London and Kabul

Trump's Presidency is just one massive triggering event for the left. Going to be a fun 8 years.

That last comment is certainly right. But the question is, will the liberal outrage finally hit bottom? How much more profanity and outrageous stunts must we endure? Whatever liberals’ feelings about Trump — and there is certainly no doubt — will we ever regain any common decency?
