Media LOSES IT over what Trump just did in front of G7 leaders in Sicily

Documenting the liberal media’s daily Donald Trump hysteria is a full time job in-and-of-itself.  From CNN’s “reporting” of Trump exerting executive privilege because he likes ice cream to MSNBC’s twenty-four hour impeachment watch it seems they’d attempt to make a federal case out of Trump staying out past curfew if he had one.

Trump’s first international trip as president has been a success by most standards of measure. But still the liberal spin machine has managed to find nits to pick at like Trump’s brushing aside of Dusko Markovic and his skewering of NATO allies.

But what the Prez did today at the end of the G7 Summit will have Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and editors at the New York Times scrambling for their blood pressure cuffs.

While on a brief tour in Sicily, instead of walking like the others did, Trump chose to, *gasp*, ride in a golf cart.  From The Hill:

“President Trump chose to ride in a golf cart while his foreign counterparts took a walk through Taormina, Sicilly on Saturday during the Group of 7 (G7) summit.

The Times of London reported the six other world leaders – from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan – walked 700 yards to take a group photo at a piazza in a hilltop town. The U.S. leader decided to wait until he could get a golf cart.

Trump was late for the photo, but joined the other world leaders during the walk down from the piazza.”

Imagine that – a 71 year-old man who’s been on the go and on his feet from sun up to sun down for a week straight when given the option of a golf cart opting to ride rather than walk. Talk about controversial. [/sarcasm font]

The story continues by explaining that Trump also refused to sign onto the ‘Paris Climate Accord’ that Obama committed us to by doing an end-around on the people’s elected representatives:

“Trump’s brief separation from the foreign leaders ahead of the photo op comes shortly after he refused to take part in a pledge supporting the Paris climate deal. The U.S. was the only country represented at the summit that did not sign the deal on Saturday.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said there was a “very intense meeting” where all six other nations “made it clear that we want the U.S. to stick to its commitments.”

However, White House officials said Friday the president’s views on climate change were “evolving.”

Trump said in a tweet Saturday he would make a final decision on the climate deal later this week. “

Thus in the span of about an hour Trump managed to rile the mainstream press and push the man-made climate change crowd even closer to the edge of the cliff he’s already got them on.  Talk about a successful day.
