BUSTED! Major newspaper caught pushing FAKE NEWS story

Once again, a member of the so-called “mainstream press” has been forced to issue a retraction over a story it ran that turned out to be false.

Sadly, this is now happening on a regular basis.  The news is bittersweet. On the one hand, it’s sad our news media has become so corrupt and agenda-driven that it’s busted almost daily for, at worst, false reporting, and, at best, biased reporting. On the other hand, it’s a good thing they’re getting busted and called out for who they truly are.

Business Insider has reported the Washington Post was forced to issue a ‘correction’ on a story it ran regarding White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer:

“The Washington Post on Wednesday issued a strange correction that immediately went viral about White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s whereabouts after President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

The Post had published an extensive article detailing the series of events leading to Trump’s firing of Comey on Tuesday, as well as the fallout from the announcement that left many White House communications staffers scrambling.

The article said Spicer was forced to huddle with his team in the bushes to develop an on-the-fly strategy for addressing reporters.

Shortly after the article was published, The Post added a correction saying Spicer was “among,” not “in,” the bushes:

“EDITOR’S NOTE: This story has been updated to more precisely describe White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s location late Tuesday night in the minutes before he briefed reporters. Spicer huddled with his staff among bushes near television sets on the White House grounds, not ‘in the bushes,’ as the story originally stated.”

Corrections are generally published after subjects or their staff take issue with details in articles.

According to multiple reports, the White House communications staff was caught off-guard by Trump’s decision to fire Comey, leading to hours of negative coverage without administration officials responding. Rumors have recently swirled that Spicer may be on the chopping block.”

Catch that? So Spicer went from being IN the bushes with his staff to actually having just been standing near some bushes. Which is going to happen when you’re holding a press conference outside at the White House which is a building…surrounded by bushes!

Gizmodo went with the headline: Correction: Sean Spicer Wasn’t Hiding In the Bushes, He was Merely ‘Among’ the Bushes”

Your mainstream media, working everyday on becoming the fakestream media.
