In the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory, we’ve grown used to liberals “protesting” everything under the sun. Progressive activists have staged so many protests, Americans are becoming indifferent to news about them.Of course, indifference hasn’t stopped liberals from trying to bully anyone who has the audacity to have a different opinion. Scenes from Berkeley, California show the lengths liberals are willing to go to silence anyone who doesn’t support their agenda.
Today’s progressives don’t believe you have a right to speak if they don’t like your message. And as the Heritage Foundation is finding out, even something as simple as a proposal on how to reduce the federal debt can spark intense backlash. So intense, in fact, that protesters have stormed the Washington D.C. office of the conservative think-tank:
The Daily Signal is reporting that the gathering is to oppose Trump’s proposed budget. Perhaps someone should inform the protesters that a think-tank doesn’t write federal legislation. Of course, that fact doesn’t matter to progressives. Just having a private office that doesn’t support the liberal agenda is enough to spark an angry mob.

Nevertheless, Heritage is taking the protest in stride. They have vowed not to be silenced by liberal bullies in a heated string of tweets:
Ironically, the protest could end up backfiring on the activists. As a new budget battle looms, protesters are only helping bring publicity to a conservative organization committed to tackling our out of control spending. Far from silencing the Heritage Foundation, protesters may only succeed in giving them a louder voice.
As of the time of writing, protesters are still gathered at the Heritage office building, showing no signs of letting up. Once again, progressives are sending a clear message to Americans; get in line, or they will attempt to harass you into submission.Sadly for them, Heritage has no plans of backing down.
