Police make new HORRIFIC discovery at DAPL protest site

If you were tasked with cleaning up the aftermath of the Dakota Access Pipeline protest site, and were then told environmentalists were responsible for what you had to clean up, you’d probably have a heart attack.

As we reported back in February, DAPL protesters left behind tons of garbage that will have to be cleaned up before the annual snowmelt. Garbage left behind by the protesters filled 2,500 pickup trucks. There wa even a dozen dogs left behind and abandoned at the site. There was so much garbage it was difficult to locate the dogs, who had frost bite, wounded paws, signs of hypothermia, and other potential ailments. How compassionate!

In total there were 709 arrests at the protest site, with 221 having prior criminal records. There was also a hefty $8 million in property damage and an additional cost of $1.1 million to clean up afterwards.

While the protests are now over after accomplishing nothing, a new discovery was made at the protest sites that makes all the poop and trash pale in comparison.

According to the Daily Caller:  North Dakota law enforcement officials are investigating a dead body found in the Cannonball River near a campsite used to protest the now completed Dakota Access Pipeline.

Local fishermen found the body of Damjan Nedelkovski floating in a river Sunday morning near the primary campsite holding anti-DAPL protesters. He was a California resident known to frequent protest camps in the area, according to a press statement issued Monday by the Morton County Sheriff’s Department.

An autopsy showed no blunt trauma to the body, and officials are not certain how long he was in the water. Family and friends, meanwhile, told local officials they last had contact with Nedelkovski in October 29, 2016. His stepbrother filed a missing person report in November.

Despite all the concern for the water supply of Standing Rock, there was apparently little concern over the potential harm a decomposing body would cause (or all the aforementioned garbage that needed to be cleaned up from the site).

It’s almost as if those protesters were compassionate in in name only. Gosh, what a surprise.
