Thank God folks – we now know for sure that we’ll never have to see Hillary Clinton in public office ever again.Within a week of her loss to Donald Trump the rumor mill began cranking out stories. There was no shortage of “inside sources” confirming that Hillary was either planning a run for New York City mayor, not planning a run for the position, or was 50/50 on whether or not she would. It wouldn’t be a wise move, as even in a city where eight in ten people voted for her, six in ten didn’t want her to run for the position.
As Hillary has emerged from the woods, we now know for certain that she will not be running for public office ever again, as we no longer have to rely on elusive “inside sources.”
According to the IJ Review, At Thursday’s Women in the World Conference, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed growing rumors that she was considering another run for public office.
“I am looking at doing interesting things,” said Clinton. “I don’t think that will ever include running for office again.”She then proceeded, of course, to pretend that being a woman somehow prevented her from winning (when anyone who looked at the popular vote count knows that’s clearly not the case).
The former Secretary of State also addressed her November loss to President Donald Trump: “In this election, there was a very real struggle between what is viewed as change that is welcome and exciting to so many Americans and change that is worrisome and threatening to so many others. You layer on the first woman president over that, and I think that some people — women included — had some problems.”
So what’s next for her?
Her ghostwriter is She’s currently writing a book about her election loss, which, given the excuses we’ve heard thus far, will point the finger at everyone except herself.
