If you were to take a few moments and turn on one of the liberal news networks, aside from driving yourself to the brink of insanity, you’d notice right away how they attempt to paint the vast majority of Americans as opposed to President Trump’s actions regarding refugees and immigration.Well, it seems those dastardly “fake news” sites are simply pushing big piles of, well, you know, as a means of brainwashing the masses into believing their narrative, because the reality of the situation is vastly different than the way they portray it.
A new poll says the majority of citizens want fewer refugees in the country and are in total support of Trump’s migration cuts.
Another poll shows a majority of voters support President Donald Trump’s executive order curbing travelers from seven terror-exporting countries, and shows that a majority want fewer refugees imported into American communities overall.Pollsters found that 51 percent of respondents want the U.S. to accept fewer refugees than the 100,000 per year President Barack Obama wanted to import. Trump’s new White House plan trims that number to 50,000 per year.
Fifty-three percent of respondents also support the Trump’s Executive Order banning all refugee resettlement from Syria and freezing refugee resettlement for 120 days, according to the poll, which was conducted for the Harvard Center for American Political Studies by the Harris Poll company. The company is co-managed by Democratic pollster Mark Penn. Forty-seven percent of respondents oppose the new curbs, according to Harris, which did not release details showing the percentage of people who strong support or oppose the curbs.
Forty-seven percent of respondents oppose the new curbs on refugee inflow, according to Harris, which did not release details about the percentage of people who strong support or oppose the curbs. In many polls, the percentage of people who strongly support large-scale immigration is below 20 percent. The half-million refugees imported since 2009 will cost taxpayers $4.1 billion in FY2017 alone. As Breitbart News previously reported: “$4.1 billion can buy 10,677 new homes for $384,000 each, which is the average price of a new home sold in the United States in December 2016. Or it could buy 170,124 new autos for $24,100 each, which is the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.”
Contrary to popular belief, the main reason folks don’t support the idea of just letting a bunch of strangers through the front door is because doing so threatens both our physical and economic safety and security.Refugees and illegals put a severe drain on our already limited resources and we simply cannot afford to raise taxes in an effort to take care of folks pouring into the country.
Terrorists are also using refugees — and the compassion they inspire — as tools to sneak themselves inside the country, leaving us vulnerable to lone wolf attacks and all sorts of horrors we don’t want to witness taking place on our own soil.
Let’s hope more and more Americans come out in support of these measures and that we’re able to better protect our nation in the future.
