Trump aide Steve Bannon calls media “the opposition,” look what happened INSTANTLY…

At Donald Trump’s joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, you may have noticed the mainstream media got completely shut out by the president. The only questions he answered were one from the Christian Broadcasting Network, and another from Townhall.

This is the third straight press conference where Trump has shut out mainstream outlets – leading CNN’s Jim Acosta (whose organization Trump branded as fake news) to declare that “the fix is in.”

He wasn’t the only mainstream journalist complaining either:

Of course, none of these people had any problem with Obama receiving softball questions from the other 99 percent of the media for eight years.

However the funniest part of this whole event is what Steve Bannon did afterwards — and the ensuing anguish it generated. The headline alone is worth a laugh:

Here were the nearly identical Tweets from some of the other liberal journalists present:

And no – Trump isn’t only calling on conservative media, he’s calling only on media that’s reported on him fairly. Townhall hasn’t been a pro-Trump publication by any stretch of the imagination, and the reporter in question who queried Trump, Katie Pavlich, was one of the 22 writers who contributed to National Review’s special “Against Trump” issue.

Calling the mainstream media “the opposition” is merely doing something the media doesn’t – reporting the facts.
