Ever since President Trump opened an investigation into illegal voting, liberals have been hard at work attempting to discredit the statistics. In the past, studies have revealed that a potentially large number of illegal votes are cast in U.S. elections. Despite this, liberals refuse to accept the evidence, even going so far as claiming there is zero evidence to support the claim. Meanwhile, left-leaning “fact-checking” sites have been busy at work “debunking” the academic research that doesn’t support their narrative.Of course, facts have a funny way of becoming “fake news” when the liberal establishment doesn’t like them. However, a new report has shed even more light on voter fraud, and it might be impossible to ignore.
From the Washington Times:
A small research group has entered the debate on voter fraud, siding with academics who estimate that large numbers of non-citizens illegally register and vote in U.S. elections.
Just Facts, founded in New Jersey 20 years ago by a Brown-educated mechanical engineer, released its findings as President Trump was setting up a task force on voter fraud headed by Vice President Mike Pence.“Contrary to the claims of certain major media outlets and fact checkers, a comprehensive analysis of polling data, election records and government investigations shows that many non-citizens vote illegally in U.S. elections,” Just Facts President James D. Agresti told The Washington Times.
Speaking on whether President Trump’s claim has any merit, the authors added:
“I think their numbers are very plausible, but there are legitimate caveats that I point out,” he told The Times. “My key conclusion is that ‘substantial numbers of non-citizens vote illegally in U.S. elections.’ I don’t think the evidence is strong enough to quantify an undoubtable range, but it is certainly not zero, as the critics say, and it may be as high as Trump claims.”It is unlikely the media will give this exhaustive report any attention. After all, the media is only interested in one side of the story. Research that considers all sides of the story is conveniently ignored when it doesn’t fit the story they’re trying to tell.
After all, liberals have too much at stake to consider conflicting evidence. They already have fiercely resisted voter ID laws, claiming there’s no factual basis for them. Disagreeing with their conclusions gets you branded a racist, even when you have the evidence on your side.Sadly, the left knows that allowing illegal voting is likely to help Democrats win elections. It will be up to Republicans under President Trump’s leadership to solve this problem on their own. The integrity of our democracy depends on it.
