As anyone who’s monitored the headlines knows, a number of high-profile fashion designers have publicly refused to dress first lady Melania Trump. The fashion world isn’t completely shutting her out, however.
According to Page Six:
Melania will be making an appearance on the cover of Vogue. “We have a tradition of always covering whoever is the first lady at Vogue,” editor-in-chief Anna Wintour told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday. “I can’t imagine that this time would be any different.”
Melania, 46, appeared on the cover of Vogue in 2005 to show off the gown she wore for her wedding to now-President Donald Trump.
The move is somewhat surprising, because the magazine, as well as Wintour herself, endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.
“Obviously we felt it was a moment in history for women,” Wintour, 67, said of the fashion mag getting political. “At times like that you need to take a leadership position…To me, it was in support of women.”Naturally, the announcement is already drawing criticism (and some entertaining freak-outs) from the Left.

This comes days after Vogue outraged liberals by releasing an issue with a cover featuring “modern American women” that did not include “enough” fat or black women because…diversity!
Thank God we don’t have to deal with such a crazy audience at allenbwest.com!
