Dems introduce bill to REMOVE key Trump appointee

Democrats all across the country still can’t seem to move beyond the reality that Donald Trump is our president, and he’s chosen many qualified individuals to head up his administration. Instead we’re treated to daily displays of temper tantrums signaling an effort to ruin any chance they have of winning in 2020.

While the internet is chock full of examples of this sort of lunacy, the latest action being taken by liberals comes from a Democratic lawmaker who is introducing a bill to have Stephen K. Bannon, Trump’s top political adviser, removed from the National Security Council.

Leftists have been up in arms over Bannon’s inclusion in Trump’s administration due to his former position at Breitbart News, and accusations he’s “alt-right” and a “White nationalist,” neither of which are factual.

The Hill is reporting:

An executive memorandum issued by Trump over the weekend gave Bannon a seat on the National Security Council, which traditionally has been composed solely of top administration officials specializing in foreign affairs and security.

Trump’s move also de-emphasizes the roles of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Director of National Intelligence so that they only attend meetings related to topics limited to their specific roles.

Rep. Stephanie Murphy’s (D-Fla.) bill would ensure that no person whose “primary or predominant responsibility is political in nature” could be designated as a member of the Security Council or be allowed to regularly attend its meetings.
It would also express a sense of Congress that the Director of National Intelligence and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff shouldn’t be limited from attending Security Council meetings.

“Our men and women in uniform, our intelligence and homeland security professionals, and our citizens should feel secure in their knowledge that the critical decisions made by the NSC are free from political considerations. The American people deserve a national security policymaking process that inspires confidence, not cynicism,” Murphy said in a House floor speech.

The decision to give Bannon, the former head of right-wing Breitbart News, a seat on the council alarmed former officials from both Democratic and Republican administrations.

White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, stated that Bannon wasn’t going to be present in every meeting, further noting the administration simply wanted to be transparent about his inclusion so as not to make it a headline story later on.

At this point, it doesn’t really seem to matter what Trump, or the folks involved in his administration, do, it’s going to be blown out of proportion and turned into some sort of lame attempt to “shoot down” the agenda put forth by the president.

It’s well past time for the mainstream media to snap out of their coma and realize that the constant witch hunt mentality they have going on only guarantees they will never win another major election in this country.

On second thought, just keeping being you, MSM.
