Trump speech triggers IMPLOSION at CNN

With President Trump officially sworn in today, leftists across the country — both inside and outside of the media — have been having meltdowns that rival those by the world’s most unruly toddlers.

With anti-Trump protesters losing their minds and getting violent across D.C., it’s becoming common to see leftists totally triggered. However, it’s the media — a constant target of The Donald — taking things particularly hard today.

For example, CNN’s Jake Tapper called Trump’s speech “the most radical” in our nation’s history. A little overdramatic, right?

According to TheBlaze:

CNN anchor Jake Tapper said President Donald Trump’s address Friday was “completely consistent with his brand,” he asserted it was “one of the most radical” inaugural speeches he’s ever heard.

Speaking under overcast skies early Friday afternoon, Trump appealed to the “forgotten men and women of our country,” pledging from the dais on the western portico of the Capitol Building to commit his presidency to them.

In his overtly populist message, the president, at the center of the U.S.’s extraordinary transition of power, vowed that “American carnage stops right here and stops right now.”

“It was very consistent to the Trump brand, absolutely,” Tapper said moments after Trump concluded his remarks. “I have to say, I think it’s fair to say, this is one of the most radical inaugural speeches we’ve ever heard.”

Tapper noted the irony of the fact that Trump rejected Washington, D.C., as he was standing in the heart of the nation’s capital surrounded by the men and women with whom he will work over the next four years.

The CNN host suggested the address was unlike any other speech of its kind because of its “purely populist” appeal. “It attacked Washington while standing in the center of Washington, D.C., rounded by Washington insiders,” Tapper noted.

“There was nothing really particularly conservative about this Republican president’s speech,” he added.

It seems the mainstream media is still clueless about the appeal of President Trump, because he wasn’t some sort of staunch conservative that drew the masses to him. People were attracted to his platform: sticking it to the Washington establishment who indeed has left the average American in the dust for decades, more than über-conservative policy positions.

Trump gave “forgotten” Americans a voice, which enabled him to be elected president.

His speech was designed to cater to those specific individuals, to continue keeping his base supporters plugged in and pumped up for all that’s to come in the new administration.

Sounds like smart politics.
