Monica Crowley makes STARTLING statement about Trump administration

Since late November, it was made public that Monica Crowley was being strongly considered for a communications position in Donald Trump’s administration. Many of you know Crowley as a familiar face on Fox News, where she is a contributor. She’s also an editor at the Washington Times, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (a think tank).

Not long-after, as the rest of the media began vetting her, she began facing accusations of plagiarism. A CNN report claimed to find multiple instance of plagiarism in her 2012 book “What the Bleep Just Happened” and Politico claimed to find plagiarism in her doctoral dissertation. The publisher of the aforementioned book (HarperCollins) temporarily pulled the book in response to the allegations, and will reinstate its publication once proper citations are added.

Trump’s transition team denounced the claims as a “politically motivated attack,” but Crowley is withdrawing from Trump’s roster regardless.

According to Business Insider: President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for director of communications at the National Security Council, GOP foreign policy adviser Monica Crowley, “will not be taking a position in the incoming administration,” she said in a statement on Monday.

“After much reflection, I have decided to remain in New York to pursue other opportunities and will not be taking a position in the incoming administration,” she said in a statement first obtained by The Washington Times.

“I greatly appreciate being asked to be part of President-elect Trump’s team, and I will continue to enthusiastically support him and his agenda for American renewal,” she said.

We often say where there’s smoke, there’s fire, but it’s still a disappointment however you look at it. The left will stop at nothing to destroy Trump and those around him, and it’s a damn shame.

But no matter what the truth around the allegations, Crowley has handled the situation wth grace.
