The results of Tuesday’s elections didn’t just decimate Hillary Clinton’s political career; it decimated the influence of the Democrat party in America. Republicans will now control the presidency, House and Senate for the first time since 2007.But that’s not all.
Here’s just how Red the country has turned since Barack Obama become president in 2008, with some visuals courtesy of the Washington Post (who is also freaking out, no doubt).
And pictured below is the only part of Obama’s legacy worth celebrating:
So just how bad is it? “Since 2008, by our estimates, the [Democrat] party has shed 870 legislators and leaders at the state and federal levels — and that estimate may be on the low side. As Donald Trump might put it, that’s decimation times 50.”Well, that’s beautiful.
Perhaps we should say, “Thanks, Obama!”One might think that Americans don’t just have a problem with Hillary Clinton — maybe, just maybe, they have a problem with the increasingly progressive policies Democrats have been trying to foist on this great republic.
In the wake of Tuesday’s sweeping losses, however, Democrats appear to be wanting to take their party even further to the left, with Sen. Bernie Sanders pushing for Rep. Keith Ellison to take the helm.
As Col. West noted, so, what is the Democrat answer to the repudiation of progressive socialism — more progressive socialism?
They just don’t seem to get it…
