You can tell a lot about folks based on their priorities, that which they deem most important. It always comes down to values, and there’s nothing more telling about the liberal progressive socialist left than their adoration and fervent stance on killing unborn children at any cost.Tuesday evening I had the distinct pleasure and honor of addressing the Nebraska Family Alliance in Lincoln. And just gotta tell ya, it’s really easy for me to look myself in the mirror as I make the case for our first inalienable right — life. For without life, there is no liberty, and certainly not a pursuit of happiness.
However, recently during the final presidential debate, we saw a woman — a mother, a grandmother — Hillary Clinton embrace the most heinous form of murder, partial birth abortion..in essence, genocide. Of course, that’s not very surprising since the current president, whose legacy she promises to continue, supported legislation stating that even if a child survives an abortion, he or she still deserves death.
You want to sugarcoat that as women’s rights; it’s not, it’s infanticide. And so it appears the culture of death that’s overtaken the liberal progressive left, certainly the Democrat party, has once again reared its ugly head in the state of Virginia. As reported by The Washington Post, The Virginia Board of Health voted Monday to scrap hospital-style building codes for all abortion clinics, saying that they were unconstitutional under a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
The board had signaled months ago that it would lift the requirements for 14 existing clinics but impose them on any new ones. But in an 11-to-4 vote Monday, it decided that the construction requirements should not apply to any of the state’s clinics. The decision follows a Supreme Court ruling in June that struck down abortion-clinic regulations in Texas. It also fulfills a central campaign promise of Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), who said during the 2013 campaign that he would be a “brick wall” against abortion restrictions.
“I want to thank the Virginia Board of Health for working to repeal onerous regulations designed solely to reduce or outright remove access to essential reproductive health services for women across the Commonwealth,” McAuliffe said in a written statement. “This vote demonstrates to the rest of the United States and the world that Virginia is a community where people can live, find employment, and start a family without politicians interfering with decisions that should be made by women and their doctors.”
The General Assembly voted in 2011 to have abortion clinics operate under the same regulations as outpatient surgical centers, which would require costly renovations such as wider hallways and doorways, expanded parking and entrance awnings.Consider this: President Obama has seen nearly 21,000 new regulations imposed by the bureaucratic administrative state under his tenure, costing private sector businesses billions of dollars. Where was the outrage against this onerous regulatory environment? Nope, that doesn’t matter; however, any means by which you seek to legitimately provide a safe and healthy environment for women is deemed as an assault against the abortion death industry.
And I’m still trying to wrap my head around this one. Why does the federal government provide $500M to a private sector not-for-profit organization called Planned Parenthood that’s running a profit? Oh yeah, this is the same federal government who was demanding Soldiers repay bonuses they received ten years ago for reenlistment to serve our Nation in combat. (The government has now “suspended” this plan, only due to tremendous outcry.) Now, will some bureaucratic progressive socialist policy genius explain that one to me?Well, while you’re hiding and scratching your heads, let me explain: it’s all about priority. The left cares more about the unfettered access to kill babies — which in the black community is genocidal at over 13 million — than it does our men and women in uniform who sacrifice their lives for our freedom.
And Gov. McAuliffe, the cheeky fella who gave nearly $500K to a state senate candidate married to an FBI deputy director who oversaw the Hillary Clinton email server investigation, give me a break. I suppose the Dr. Kermit Gosnell case was just peachy keen with you, ol’ Terry boy. Y’all remember, the filthy and unsafe environment where this maniacal doctor was butchering kids and storing their body parts in jars in refrigerators? Yep, good ol’ Terry wants to be a brick wall against anyone preventing that from happening again.
Just gotta ask, how does he look at himself in a mirror at the end of the day?
We’ve allowed abortion to become a means of birth control, which to me is sickening. This was supposed to be safe, legal and rare — hardly the case, it is an industry. We’ve seen the manipulative linguists of the left redefine women’s reproductive health to mean killing babies — that’s the hard truth, folks, admit it. Someone with a logical brain would realize that women’s reproductive health has everything to do with research and cures to end cervical, ovarian, uterine and breast cancers, along with fibroid tumors.
And the real choice is that of life, but as Obama once said, he would not want to “punish” his daughters with having a child. Of course, we didn’t hear much from the media about the derangement of that statement, along with his support of infanticide as an Illinois state senator.
The left cares more about whales, dogs, cats and other animals than it does our own unborn children. Then again, it is following in the footsteps of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger.
The Supreme Court decision against Texas just goes to show that we no longer have a system of federalism in America. The decision by the Virginia Board of Health — well, that is oxymoronic, as it appears they care little about the health and safety of women, and they certainly care little about the health of future Americans, our children. You’d think they’d agree with strict regulations for a place conducting such procedures…I guess their priority is just to kill the baby, by any means necessary, and in any manner or environment.
Now, that is deplorable.
