There are folks who’d say this is a topic that shouldn’t be touched, but I can’t accept that. I do not support abortion as a means of birth control, and certainly do not support the belief that abortion should happen all the way up to the final trimester.Further, I do not support the stance of one Barack Obama who supported, while a state senator in Illinois, that a child who survives an abortion still deserves to be killed — that is inhumane, it is genocide.
We see all these TV commercials about saving animals, dogs, cats…but for a child in the womb, it’s open season. I fully support women’s reproductive health — better research to end cervical, uterine, ovarian cancers along with fibroid tumors and breast cancer — two of those illnesses attacked my wife, and she is a survivor.
I support a woman’s right to choose in the instances of rape, incest, and medically-verified threat to her life.
However, I do not support an industry of death, which is what abortion has become in America. And it is not reflective of our better angels to rob our unborn of their first unalienable right to life. But it appears it’s something to be celebrated by liberals. As reported by CNS News, “Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) introduced a resolution last week to “recognize the importance of Planned Parenthood’s contributions to women’s health care and reproductive rights in America over the last 100 years.”
The resolution voiced strong support for the nation’s largest abortion provider, declaring that “the organization remains an essential thread in the fabric of society, and it will be key in the next century to assisting millions of women, men, and young people in accessing the health care they need and deserve, no matter who they are or where they live.”
“Planned Parenthood should not be defunded, attacked, or discriminated against for their role as a vital women’s health care provider across the country,” the resolution stated. It emphasized support for “the wide-ranging preventive services that Planned Parenthood Federation of America doctors, nurses, and staff provide every day to patients across the United States” and recognized “that Planned Parenthood is a safety-net provider that reaches medically underserved people who are critically in need of compassionate care.”The organization will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 16, and the resolution highlighted and celebrated this, noting that the first “birth control health clinic” founded by Margaret Sanger on October 16, 1916 was “founded on the idea that women should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams.” The resolution stated that “Planned Parenthood health care providers and staff have played important roles in increasing access to safe and legal abortion, and have successfully advocated for measures that increase access to birth control, including the Affordable Care Act requirement that private insurance plans provide coverage for birth control with no-out of-pocket costs.”
I want Senator Wyden to explain to the black community his celebratory feeling that since 1973 Roe v Wade, some 13 to 15 million black babies have been murdered due to abortion. Something tells me those black lives don’t matter.Just imagine the genocidal aspect of that statistic. For reference, estimates from the period of slavery is that 2 to 3 million blacks lost their lives. We’re talking about five times that number.
Now, the UN issued a report about reparations for slavery, and we reported here about a university in Washington DC that wanted to give a reduced or free college tuition to descendants of slavery…due to the injustice of that institution, supported and defended by the Democrat Party. However, the injustice of abortion in the black community goes silent.
And what of Margaret Sanger, the Planned Parenthood founder? Well, here’s just a sampling of some of her infamous quotes:
– We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.
– “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan.”
– “They are…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”
– “Birth control is nothing more or less than…weeding out the unfit.”
– “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world.”
– “But for my view, I believe that there should be no more babies.”
Really Senator Wyden, this is the person, the organization deserving a Congressional resolution? And for what, killing babies? Really, Hillary Clinton, this is the woman you praised and accepted an award of her namesake? Not to mention Mrs. Clinton, your praising a former KKK grand wizard, deceased Senator Robert Byrd (D-W Va.) as a mentor…imagine if that were a Republican?
Absolutely no, we should not be providing $550 million in American taxpayer funds to a private sector, not-for-profit organization that’s running a profit. We have countless government health clinics that can provide healthcare services for women, without killing babies. Since when was it more important for our federal government to fund the killing of babies, instead of ensuring our men and women in the military have adequate parts, equipment, and compensation Hillary Clinton says she’s all about children and she’s spent her entire life fighting for children. but Mrs. Clinton, choice seems for you to be about killing babies, and I’ve never heard you speak positively on school choice either.
Sadly, it must be apparent that only the black lives that can be levied for electoral patronage matter. Black lives never mattered to Margaret Sanger and the organization she founded, Planned Parenthood. And blindly, blacks follow the political party that advocates for the murder of our children and wants to celebrate its work.
In other words, celebrate its murder of black babies, championed by the woman for whom Hillary Clinton accepted an award. Folks, you just cannot make this stuff up.
