The general election is in full swing, and that means Democrat voter fraud season in high gear as well. We’ve seen Democrats ramp up efforts to repeal voter ID laws, paving the way for easier voter fraud — because, you know, it’s “racist” to expect certain groups to be capable of obtaining an ID. They’re furiously working to extend voting rights to felons — even against court order, as Hillary BFF and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is doing in the battleground state of Virginia. (Never mind that McAuliffe’s predecessor, vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, acknowledged that was beyond his authority when he was governor of the state). Hillary Clinton’s campaign is even employing undocumented “Dreamers” to help register people to vote — even though they themselves can’t legally vote. No doubt there’s nothing shady going on there…
Even the Obama administration itself is doing what it can to put its heavy hand on the scales in favor of its chosen successor, urging U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to work overtime to swear in as many citizens as possible “due to the election year” (their words).
So it’s rather priceless that Democrats are crying foul about what Chick-fil-A is doing in Florida this election season.
As Tampa Bay Times reports:The Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County are crying foul over Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark’s decision to hold voter registration drives at nine Chick-fil-A locations. Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain known for putting faith ahead of profits, supports conservative causes.
Susan McGrath, leader of the Stonewall Democrats and head of the Pinellas Democratic Party, said the decision to use Chick-fil-A would be similar to a Democratic supervisor of elections holding the event at Planned Parenthood.
McGrath said the group supports the effort to register more voters, But she called the move partisan to hold the event at Chick-fil-A and said it might be more transparent to hold the voter drives at the Republican Party headquarters.“While some Democrats may occasionally dine at Chick-fil-A (and perhaps even members of the LGBT community), the coordination of Pinellas voter registration activities with this right-leaning business very clearly conveys that your office is targeting Republican-leaning voters,” McGrath wrote to Clark.
Jason Latimer, Clark’s spokesman, said the office will hold 350 voter drives this year. He declined to comment on McGrath’s allegations, but he did say the restaurants draw lots of consumers.Gosh, are Democrats trying to SUPPRESS the votes of Chick-fil-A patrons?
You just have to laugh. For all the Dems’ shady shenanigans to encourage and even perpetrate actual voter fraud, their feathers are ruffled over voter registration taking place at a chicken restaurant. If they were honest (OK, what a silly thing to say about Democrats, I know), liberals would have to acknowledge that — despite the liberal powers that be’s efforts to discourage Chick-fil-A patronage for political reasons — we know there are a LOT of Democrats who can’t help eat more chikin. How else do you explain lines around the block in liberal bastion New York City when the restaurant opened there — despite Mayor de Blasio’s admonitions against it? (Not to mention the Chick-fil-A’s subsequent new restaurant openings there…)
Even if nothing else is predictable this election cycle, there are a few things that (sadly) are: Democrat hypocrisy and faux outrage as they accuse Republicans of the very thing of which it is THEY who are guilty. And that said Democrats will do anything — anything — to
steal win the election at all costs.
