It’s often said that truth is stranger than fiction. And — if true — some of the details still emerging around Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s recent “medical episode” certainly fit the bill.Setting aside the constantly-shifting excuses for the Democrat presidential nominee’s public health “incidents” — “She’s fine”…”just a cough”…”allergies”…”overheated”…”dehydration”…”pneumonia”…”you’re all SEXIST” — the candidate’s movements alone this past Sunday continue to fuel speculation. And some of it sounds more like plot details from a sci-fi, political thriller than real life.
But, then again, we are talking about the Clintons — one of the biggest political machines in the history of the United States — who have been planning for Hillary’s presidency for more than two decades, since Bill himself was president.
Two particular details of Hillary Clinton’s high-profile 9/11 “medical episode” continue to make waves on the internet — both centering on the candidate’s routing to her daughter Chelsea’s Manhattan apartment — rather than an emergency room that would have seemed called for given a 69-year-old woman’s collapse, a presidential candidate no less.
You’ve no doubt heard the speculation that it was a body double who emerged 90 minutes later from that apartment, free of security tailing her and hugging a little girl, despite her pneumonia diagnosis. People tweeting with the hashtag #HillarysBodyDouble noticed, among other things, tip-offs such as what many perceived as a more svelte version of the candidate emerging — supposedly after just 90 minutes of rehydrating, no less:
Okay, so I’m not a fan of conspracy theories.. but Hillary really did look 50 pounds lighter after leaving the hospital. #hillarysbodydouble— Eddie_Famous (@eddie_famous) September 12, 2016

Now, on top of the body double speculation, details about Chelsea’s apartment itself are sparking further questions. Turns out, Chelsea Clinton’s apartment — The Whitman Building, 21 East 26th Street, 4th Fl, Flatiron District, New York NY — shares an address with a company known as METROCARE HOME SERVICES, INC. The company lists the same address on the same floor, with only one apartment per floor in the building.
US Defense Watch has more:
An Internet search for Metrocare Home Services came up with the following link:
Apparently, all calls to the Metrocare Home Services number are directed to an extension answered by an elderly woman who speaks limited English and no Spanish.
The fourth floor apartment in the Whitman was also remodeled in 2013 by Jeffrey Cole Architects of Manhattan. Below is a job description:
INTERIOR RENOVATION OF EXISTING APARTMENT #4. ARCHITECTURAL AND PLUMBING WORK. ENERGY EXEMPT, NATIONAL HISTORY REGISTRY USN# 06101.012731. NO CHANGE OF USE, OCCUPANCY, OR EGRESS UNDER THIS APPLICATION.
The remodeling work, costing $40,000 was started in August of 2013, five months after Chelsea and husband, Marc Mezvinsky purchased the 5,000 square foot apartment.
What is a health care services company doing at the exact same location and address as Chelsea Clinton’s apartment? Is Metrocare Home Services nothing more than a private clinic for Hillary Clinton to receive treatment away from the prying eyes of the media? What is Hillary Clinton and her campaign hiding from the American people?
Of course, no internet response would be complete without memes, which quickly cropped up as news of this started to spread:
Some have further speculated that such a situation could make perfect sense for a woman so secretive about her medical conditions to have purchased an apartment for her daughter with the intent of using it as a secret private medical treatment facility during her anticipated campaign.
It could be the perfect cover:
To the press…it would only appear Hillary was just dropping in for a visit with her daughter…when, in reality, she is receiving medical treatment and controlled substances from private physicians and private pharmacists…on private property (no need for disclosure).
The need for such a private facility, of course, would only be more paramount if the candidate were suffering from a major, debilitating condition — such as Parkinsons disease, for example, as many suggest.
Yes, it sounds crazy, and yet — how else should we reconcile the coincidence of the shared address of Chelsea’s apartment and this home medical facility? Certainly, the Clintons have enough cash to swing such a set-up.
Whether or not you find any possible credence in the theory about Hillary’s private medical facility, you may appreciate some of the Yelp reviews cropping up for the Metrocare Home Services:
Just when you thought this election cycle couldn’t get any crazier…
