Overnight: Shots fired at NYPD officers…

This is becoming a terrible daily routine, as we must again report an attack on our law enforcement community.

Just before midnight on Tuesday, shots were fired at NYPD officers in Brooklyn.

Thank God the officers were not hit.

CBS local reports, The incident happened Tuesday night at East 23rd Street and Ditmas Avenue in Brooklyn, police said.

The Sergeants’ Benevolent Association said four males drove past the officers in a vehicle and shot at the officers.

It was unclear if the officers returned fire, police said.

The officers were not injured in the incident, but were evaluated at the scene, police said.

Police were searching for a four-door sedan early Wednesday morning.

But you know, according to Hillary Clinton, it’s still pretty much the police officers’ fault. This week, after her speech at the NAACP, the candidate for commander in chief liar in chief tweeted:

Again, we are so thankful these officers were not injured. And we pray we won’t have to post another story on this subject ever again…
