Things are really starting to heat up between GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump and his competition in the general election, Hillary Clinton, as gears begin to shift toward the final showdown in November.Clinton decided to lob a few missiles in Trump’s direction on Tuesday, slamming the real estate mogul for his history of personal debt during a speech about the economy.
True to form, Trump sent a few shots out of his own, and what he said was absolutely brutal.According to TheBlaze, The billionaire businessman leaned into Clinton’s criticism of his casinos’ bankruptcies, arguing that such financial maneuvers were wise business tactics — which he will also use as president to help alleviate the U.S.’s debt.
Trump, who loves to bestow nicknames on political rivals, dubbed himself the “king of debt” in a tweet immediately after Clinton’s speech.
I am "the king of debt."That has been great for me as a businessman, but is bad for the country. I made a fortune off of debt, will fix U.S.

He then put together a string of criticisms of his own, calling Clinton “corrupt,” “dangerous” and “dishonest” and alleging that she used her position as secretary of state for personal financial gain.
In one tweet, Trump pointed to Clinton’s handling of the 2012 terror attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans as an example of her “honesty and judgment.”
If you want to know about Hillary Clinton's honesty & judgment, ask the family of Ambassador Stevens.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 21, 2016
Trump’s dig about Benghazi is one that’s sure to cut the Democratic presumptive nominee right down to the core. It’s the kind of burn that’s almost impossible to bounce back from, though that won’t stop Clinton from trying.
We all know it’s a given this last half of the election cycle is going to be bloody and brutal, and this is just an appetizer for what’s to come.
Hillary has been allowed to get away with far too much for far too long, and it’s about time someone calls her out in a manner impossible for her to avoid. We the people deserve some answers.
Whether or not you support Donald Trump, the one thing we can all agree on is that he’ll most certainly hold Hillary’s feet to the flame, and it’ll be super entertaining to watch her squirm under the weight of her own corruption.
