Hillary really is trying everything to even moderately excite people about her campaign. While she’s the presumptive nominee, there’s certainly an enthusiasm gap between her supporters and those of Bernie Sanders.Bill Clinton has higher favorability ratings than she does, and she’s been parading him around the campaign trail, where he’s been holding solo rallies in support of her. I can’t blame her, I’d rather listen to Bill too.
As The Hill reports, Hillary is looking for much more than just a campaign role for her husband – he’s going to be brought out of retirement in the event of a Hillary Presidency.
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is beginning to hint at what role her husband, former President Bill Clinton, could have in her administration if elected president.
At a campaign stop in Fort Mitchell, Ky., Clinton said her husband would be “in charge of revitalizing the economy.”Clinton often boasts about her husbands economic record on the campaign trail, leaning heavily on his record of raising wages and creating jobs.
“The economy does better when you have a Democrat in the White House,” Clinton said at the Oct. 13 debate.
The above statement, by the way, is completely false.
Clinton said something similar at a campaign event in early May, saying she would bring him out of retirement to create jobs.Uh, we expect Bill will be kept a safe distance from the White House interns this time around.
