Earlier this week we published a story quoting Paul R. McHugh, the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital who said it is a scientific fact that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men.” According to McHugh, transgendered people “become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’”Even more tragic is the sense of regret and pain transgendered persons endure after the pain of transitioning.
When “the tumult and shouting dies,” McHugh continued, “it proves not easy nor wise to live in a counterfeit sexual garb. The most thorough follow-up of sex-reassigned people—extending over 30 years and conducted in Sweden, where the culture is strongly supportive of the transgendered—documents their lifelong mental unrest.”Well, there was an inordinate amount of “tumult and shouting” when Bruce Jenner revealed his newly created self as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair. Television interviews, “her” own reality show, an ESPY award for courage…and now guess what?
Just as Dr. McHugh predicted, Jenner is unhappy and having second thoughts.Hollywood website The Wrap says, Caitlyn Jenner, who announced her transition from man to woman last year, has considered de-transitioning, the author of a new book about the Kardashian family told The Wrap on Wednesday.
Ian Halperin, the author of “Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family,” said that, while researching his book, multiple sources told him that the former Olympian had been miserable for months and has considered transitioning back to a man.
“One source confirmed to me Caitlyn has made whispers of ‘sex change regret,’ hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner,” Halperin said.Halperin said that one long-time friend told him that, while Jenner was “thrilled” to champion transgender issues, the reality TV personality could de-transition “in the next couple years.”
“It hasn’t been easy for Caitlyn, it’s been very hard,” the friend said, according to Halperin. “She’s thrilled she has raised awareness about how transgender people have long been discriminated against but I think there’s a chance she’ll de-transition in the next couple years. I don’t think it would surprise anybody in her inner circle. It has been much harder than she anticipated. My heart goes out to her and I know her true friends will be there to support her on whatever path she chooses.”
According to Halperin, multiple sources close to the Kardashian family told him that Jenner might revert back because she retains her interest in females.
“She’s still into women and wants to meet the right one,” Halperin recalled one friend saying.Well, waaait a minute. You mean now Jenner is actually a heterosexual male trapped in a heterosexual female’s body? Why can’t Caitlyn just be happy and gay as a lesbian? There are plenty of lesbian women still looking for the right one as well…
One thing is for sure. If Jenner publicly declares she’s going to go back to the way God intended AND endorses Donald Trump, we will have a full-scale nuclear explosion in the liberal world.
