Folks, this is probably going to be the shortest post I’ve written. To the point, the Obama policy towards Iran is just plain dumb!As reported by the Washington Free Beacon:
Iran on Tuesday again threatened to walk away from the nuclear agreement reached last year with global powers, hours after the country breached international agreements by test-firing ballistic missiles.
Iran’s most recent ballistic missile test, which violates current U.N. Security Council resolutions, comes a day after the international community’s nuclear watchdog organization disclosed that it is prohibited by the nuclear agreement from publicly reporting on potential violations by Iran.
Iranian leaders now say that they are poised to walk away from the deal if the United States and other global powers fail to advance the Islamic Republic’s “national interests.”“If our interests are not met under the nuclear deal, there will be no reason for us to continue,” Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, warned during remarks delivered to a group of Iranian officials in Tehran.
And even as we post this story, news is breaking of Iran firing two additional ballistic missiles marked, “Israel must be wiped out” — apparently sending a message as Vice President Biden visits Israel. Iran continues to make its “national interests” — those they expect us to advance, or else — clear.
Folks of a progressive socialist leftist ideology can accuse me of spreading fear all they want. But they can’t accuse me of being so dumb as to enter an agreement with Iran which gives them billions of dollars.Iran realizes there will be no effective sanctions. They’ve already started to develop business deals, raking in more billions of investment dollars. In addition, Iran is seeking to purchase T-90 tanks and state-of-the-art fighter aircraft from Russia, as we shared that with y’all. And the acquisition of the deadly S-300 anti-aircraft missile system will be damning for anyone seeking to engage or attack Iranian nuclear interests.
This whole episode is descending into something that even Rod Serling could not have scripted. We are beyond “The Twilight Zone.” The Obama administration has shown it’s seriously “stuck on stupid.”
