Donald Trump has built his campaign on the idea of “making America great again” – specifically bringing back the thousands of jobs companies have moved overseas to remain profitable. Not sure you can really blame them – considering the U.S. has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. (Liberals do seem to forget companies exist to make a profit, not to fund the government – but that’s a different article).
In any event employees, of Carrier Air Conditioner recently learned the company has plans to move at least 1,400 jobs from the U.S. to Mexico – and one employee captured his colleagues’ reaction to the announcement.
Needless to say, it wasn’t pretty. (Note: This video contains some strong language)
“The best way to stay competitive and protect the business longterm is to move production from our facility in Indianapolis to Monterrey, Mexico,” the representative says as the employees begin booing and shouting, as The Blaze reports.
The representative goes on to share details that the company doesn’t intend to fully close the facility’s doors until mid-2017, and encourages employees to “remain committed to manufacturing the same high quality products” until then.
“Yeah, f*** you!” one person shouts back.Later, another one says, “How long will it take before people start tearing sh*t up?”
Donald Trump has been called out for using profanity on the stump, but perhaps one reason his message is resonating so well with working folks is because he talks just like them.
