The outrage over the lack of black Oscar nominations has just crossed the line into flat-out ridiculous.Yesterday, black actress Stacey Dash dared to suggest the outrage over the Oscars is “ludicrous,” even going so far as to call out the “double standard” that exists in having all-black awards and commemorations (e.g., Black History Month).
“I think it’s ludicrous. We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration,” Dash said Wednesday on Fox and Friends.
“If we don’t want segregation then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NCAAP] Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we’d be up in arms.”
In case you missed it, you can watch her comments here:
On cue, liberals are responding by attacking her in their predictably horrible way. And one response from a white liberal is so mind-boggling, it’s downright laughable.
Via Mediaite:Unfortunately for African-American actress Stacey Dash, she is no longer black enough for white guy John Fugelsang.
The alleged comedian’s comments come after Dash opined Wednesday on Fox News’ Outnumbered that she would rather do away with Black History Month.Dash also came out against the BET Network:
We have to make up our minds, either we want to have segregation or integration,” Dash said. “If we don’t want segregation then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you are only awarded if you are black.
In 2005, actor Morgan Freeman also came out against Black History Month. Fugelsang has not yet weighed in on whether or not Freeman is a race traitor.
Just because Stacey Dash abandoned melanin doesn’t mean the rest of us need to abandon Black History Month. — John Fugelsang (@JohnFugelsang) January 20, 2016
Yep, a white liberal just in essence (no pun intended) claimed this black actress is no longer black — simply because she went off the plantation with her messaging about the Oscars and Black History Month.
Come to think of it, has Rachel Dolezal weighed in yet?
Maybe the only solution is for the Oscars to just move to “participation trophies” for everyone. SMH.
