With so many to choose from, to select one Hillary Clinton lie that rises above all for its repugnance is quite a statement. And yet many are indeed calling the latest lie she’s just been caught in as the Queen’s most sickening lie yet. After the former Secretary of State’s flat denial Sunday that she told victims’ families the Benghazi attack was due to a YouTube video, victims’ family members have come out to reiterate Clinton’s lies to them following the September 11, 2012 attack. As Breitbart reports, for example:
Kate Quigley, the sister of Glen Doherty, one of the victims of the Benghazi terrorist attack said former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “wasn’t truthful.”
Addressing Clinton’s denial Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that she told the victims’ families that the Benghazi attack was due to an anti-Muslim YouTube video “The Innocence of Muslims” Quigley said, “It doesn’t surprise me that she would say that. This is a woman who will do and say anything to get what she wants. You know I have very little respect for her.”
Nailed it — if there is one thing that’s consistent about Hillary Clinton (besides her dishonesty), it’s her willingness to do and say anything to further her own interests. It’s all about her.The New York Post makes the case that this is indeed Clinton’s most repugnant lie, the queen of the whoppers from the Queen:
Liar, liar, pantsuit on fire: Hillary Clinton still insists she didn’t tell the grieving families of the Benghazi victims that an anti-Islam video was to blame.
Yet family members say she said just that, three days after the attack, at the Sept. 14, 2012, ceremony at Andrews Air Force Base.George Stephanopoulos asked her Sunday if she’d told the victims it was about the film. Clinton gave a flat “no.”
She added: “I said very clearly there had been a terrorist group, uh, that had taken responsibility on Facebook, um . . .”At least four family members disagree.
Tyrone Woods’ father said he hugged Clinton and shook her hand. Then “she said we are going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible for the death of my son . . . She said ‘the filmmaker who was responsible for the death of your son.’ ”
Sean Smith’s mother said Hillary is “absolutely lying . . . She said it was because of the video.” Smith’s uncle backs her up.
Glen Doherty’s sister agreed: “When I think back now to that day and what she knew, it shows me a lot about her character that she would choose in that moment to basically perpetuate what she knew was untrue.”
“What she knew” refers to Clinton’s words to daughter Chelsea the night of the assault and the next day to Egypt’s prime minister, which made it plain the secretary of state knew full well that a terror group had long planned the attack.
The lie’s even in her words at the Sept. 14 ceremony: “We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with.”
Just why the administration united around this lie is another editorial. The disgrace here is Clinton’s refusal to admit her role — even pushing the fib to “comfort” the bereaved.
Stiff as the competition is, this has to count as her lowest-down, dirtiest lie of all.
I have to agree here. Hard to think of what’s worse than lying to the face of these families whose loved ones died under her watch.
What about y’all?
Meanwhile, we continue to receive more evidence of the blood on the former Secretary of State’s hands. As as we reported previously, a newly-released email confirms the Pentagon ready to send help that tragic night in Benghazi — if only they had received sign-off from Hillary’s State Department. Though it came after the first wave of the attack at the consulate, it occurred before a mortar strike on the CIA annex killed Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty — and potentially could have saved the lives of two of these families’ loved ones.
And yet the White House has the gall to condemn Donald Trump as not qualified to be president, based on his proposal intended to PROTECT Americans? Even as it is complicit in this woman’s blatant disregard for the lives of Americans she might have saved.
Truly despicable, even for a woman whose behavior is repeatedly shameful.
