French police are said to be in pursuit of a Citroën Berlingo after it forced its way through a toll on the A10 in the Ablis area of Yvelines in north-west France at lunchtime today.
The town is approximately 40 miles from the center of Paris and the incident comes as police remain on high alert following a string of deadly terror attacks across the French capital last night.
Police have also confirmed they are currently hunting a black Seat vehicle, registered abroad, which is ‘wanted in connection with the attacks.”Meanwhile Fox News has just reported “Police in Belgium made several arrests Saturday in connection with Friday’s bloody terror assaults in Paris that killed at least 129 people, officials said.
Belgium Justice Minister Koen Geens told the VRT network that the arrests came after a car with Belgian license plates was seen Friday night close to the Bataclan concert hall, scene of the deadliest assault where at least 89 people were massacred by attackers armed with AK-47s and explosives.
Geens said the car was a rental and the arrests stemmed from police raids conducted in the St. Jans Molenbeek neighborhood in Brussels.”Also earlier today, London’s Gatwick Airport was evacuated as the bomb squad was called in to investigate a suspicious package amidst reports of a man with a grenade.
Sadly, it is safe to assume this is not over yet…by a long shot.[Note: This article was written by Michele Hickford]
